Lucian looked at the two items in Patches's hands. One was an item Patches had sold in the original game: Margit's Shackle, the shackle of Margit the Fell Omen.
But Lucian knew that was merely an alias, a body double.
This was actually the unknown shackle of Morgott, the Blessing King.
Root-like strands coiled around a stone block marked with the Elden Ring symbol. It was a shattered fragment.
Lucian guessed that the shackle which had once imprisoned Morgott had been much larger, and had shattered after Morgott broke free and destroyed it.
That was why this fragment held only faint magic, capable of restricting Morgott's movements for only a very short time.
But the other item Patches brought out took Lucian by surprise.

Omen Bairns were offering statues made by those who carried out this work, in hopes that the Omen children who died would not hate or curse them.
Lucian's gaze moved back and forth between the two items. Just who had Patches robbed to get his hands on both of these?
"Who did you get these two things from?"
Patches did not answer. Instead, he set the items aside and held out his hand.
"Pay for them first. Then I'll
