"Respawn!"
With a flash of white light, a pile of emotionless pixels popped up on the Screen. The blocky character controlled by Di Tian once again appeared empty-handed amid the ruins of the dirt house, which had been blasted full of craters by Creepers.

In the internet café's main hall, Di Tian stared at the Screen, exhaustion showing in his golden vertical pupils.
Listening to Ice Empress and Snow Empress joyfully building the Northern Ice Palace in Zone C next door, then turning to look at Wang Qiuer's fully automated iron farm jingling away as it generated income, the supreme ruler of the Star Dou Great Forest experienced what "weariness" meant for the first time in his life.

Er Ming, seated beside him, had just crawled out of the respawn point as well. Rubbing a tree trunk with his hands, he consoled him, "This damn underground is way too dangerous. I clearly saw some glowing ore earlier, but I got excited, the block under my feet collapsed, and I fell right into a mob swarm."
"Yeah."
Niu Tian sighed too. He was currently chasing pigs across the plains because he had no food. "There's not just lava down there—there are those skeletons that shoot arrows ridiculously well too. Their arrows are like they've got tracking formations on them. Every single shot goes straight for your head!"
Listening to his two fellow sufferers complain, Di Tian took a breath and forcibly suppressed the urge to smash the computer.
"I am the Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King! How could a few lousy stones and skeletons stop me
