Demon Domain.
Before ancient times, there had been the Epochal Wilderness, where demon beasts and ferocious beasts roamed the Nine Heavens.
Demons were born among beasts, and Demon Path cultivation began in this land.
Ancient demons, primordial great demons—every kind of demon stood side by side within this Demon Domain, where myriad demons filled the forests and brutality reigned with iron severity.
Here, the law of cultivation laid bare the vivid truth that the weak were meat for the strong.
Though a certain little demon was still furred and horned, its cultivation was far from weak.
As one of the mountain-patrolling little demons, it had to patrol Black Mountain day and night with utmost diligence. This was the cultivation cave abode of the Black Mountain King, and only then could it receive rewards.
Boom.
The little demon with two yellow horns atop its head suddenly widened its eyes.
It followed the sound.
It looked toward the gateway that had suddenly appeared in midair.
Its hazy radiance gradually expanded, growing ever larger.
Another little demon beside it shuddered as it watched the gateway crush the mountain clouds.
Its face turned pale with horror. "Quick, report to the King! Something strange has happened!"
"No, a demon must be attacking Black Mountain!"
"Obviously! Why aren't you running?!"
For a mountain-patrolling little demon, the most important thing was to run fast.
The gateway's radiance spread out in layers of divine light.
Those streaks of divine light reminded the somewhat worldly mountain-patrolling little demon of a deity he had once seen soaring into the heavens long ago.
The aura emanating from this gateway was almost identical to the aura he had sensed back then.
Boom.
It was as though a corner of time had been peeled back once more.
Above this Demon Domain.
