Compared to his other incarnations, this incarnation's cultivation progress had been rather different.

Lu Qing had always cultivated alone in the past, but this incarnation walked the path of enlightenment. The creation brought by enlightenment was immense, and Lu Qing had never deliberately considered the creation of heaven and earth.

The creation of heaven and earth involved doing deeds of great merit for heaven and earth. Such deeds could be great or small.

Yet for there to be true cultivation and insight, nothing less than great merit would do.

But behind merit lay countless tangled threads of cause and effect. Just like the Human Path this time, some clear-eyed people had long known of Humanity Providence and wanted a share of the pie. What they valued was precisely this Humanity Merit.

Lu Qing naturally had no intention of forming any connection with the Human Path.

Humanity Providence was far too complicated. Moreover, toward the end of the Ancient Era, the Human Path had vanished into hiding for no apparent reason. That too was a secretive matter.

Lu Qing had never placed his cultivation in the midst of danger.

If he wished to obtain Humanity Merit, the first thing he would likely have to do would concern the Son of the Human Emperor.
