Alvin stood by the camp stove, looking at the oysters and sea urchins the children had collected. After thinking it over, he summoned a few crows and sent them off to steal some bird eggs for him.

Steamed sea urchin with egg was a delicacy anywhere. The sea urchins in these clean waters weren't small, and when you cracked one open and removed its innards, the petal-like sea urchin roe looked incredibly appetizing.
