Alvin found it strange that the so-called Egyptian gods had entered the pyramids of their own accord...

For events that had happened who knew how many years ago, much of what they could do was rely on guesswork to imagine what things had been like.

Alvin knew a little about Asgardian history. Ten thousand years ago, they had left Earth and gone to Asgard to serve as Earth's outpost. Old Odin hadn't even been born yet...

If the departure of the Norse Gods marked a turning point, had those so-called Egyptian gods buried themselves around the same time?

What had they done wrong?

They were all "gods," so why could the Norse Gods bask in glory while the Egyptian Deities had to bury themselves?

And what about the mythological epics from all over the world? Had they, like the Egyptian Deities, been buried, leaving behind only legends?

Most of what was involved had something to do with those "Immortals," but nobody knew exactly what had happened.

Professor Wilson glanced at Alvin, who was lost in thought, and said with a smile, "I know you talked with that Carter Slade. He probably told you a bizarre legend about some unusual people.

"And why Asgard is Earth's guardian..."

As he spoke, Professor Wilson shook his head with a smile. "There's a good deal of speculation and imagination involved. A few years ago, I would've thought he was talking nonsense.

"But he gave me several locations, including the reason the Mayan Civilization disappeared, as well as the locations of several ancient Egyptian pyramids.

"He also gave me photos of the murals that recorded the histories of those places..."

With that, Professor Wilson took a stack of enlarged photographs from a large box as everyone watched expectantly. He set them on the coffee table
