A flash of white light flared from the top of the Pyramid and struck one of the Basilisk's savage heads.
The head that was hit realized in terror that it had lost control of itself, and it began to slowly turn to stone.
The other heads nearby had clearly encountered the same attack before. The moment the golden armor raised its shield, they looked away.
The terrifying power of the white light still caused them immense pain, but at least they had avoided the deadly fate of being turned to stone.
Even with his eyes closed, Alvin could feel the terrifying power of that flash through multiple obstacles.
Stark fared even worse. He let out a muffled groan and asked in pain, "What was that?"
Chiron lowered the crab shell and cautiously peered out...
He saw the golden armor wielding a Spear, striking a petrified snake head with all its might...
Though they were nearly a thousand meters away, they still heard the Basilisk give a pained hiss.
