Alvin fought back his discomfort as he slowly sank through the narrow space, swimming along the passage inside the stone column and into Atlantis's underground space.

Once he was underground, Alvin couldn't stand it anymore...

He pulled out the omnidirectional lamps he'd prepared the last time he explored the Qin Emperor's Underground Palace and began tossing one ahead every so often.

In a place without a speck of light, relying on his keen senses to reconstruct the underground space never made Alvin feel safe.
