Alvin looked at Beckett's extremely awkward expression and found it a little amusing. He guessed the chief had been pushed to the limit.

As he spoke, Alvin glanced at Beckett, then patted Alexei on the back. "Lend it to her and have her sign an IOU.

If she breaks anything, make her pay the full price. If she doesn't, take it back and send it to South America in exchange for land.
