Chief George nearly spat a mouthful of saliva into Alvin's face.

He genuinely wanted these weapons. The situation over the past few years had left Chief George utterly exhausted.

Every time, they had to rely on the police charging into battle with tiny guns. He had attended so many funerals that he had grown numb to them.

But the situation was special now. The entire population of Manhattan was in a state of panic, and those wealthy tycoons were throwing money around desperately to guarantee their safety.

Politically and economically, this gave Chief George a chance to swallow this entire batch of surplus goods in one go.

But that did not mean Chief George was willing to be made a sucker.

These weapons could not be sold at all while they were in Alvin's hands. Even if he sent them to South America, those countries might not be willing to take them.

This guy had actually asked about the Police Station's finances. He seemed to want to empty the department's budget. How could that be allowed?

Alvin felt a little embarrassed under Chief George's gaze. He spread his hands and said, "You're a friend, so I definitely won't name some outrageous price.

"I'll give you a friendship price. Five billion..."

As he spoke, Alvin hurriedly grabbed Chief George, who was preparing to storm off, and said with an awkward laugh, "You can't let me lose too much, either. After all, I spent more than thirty billion to acquire this stuff.

"According to the United States' export prices, five billion really isn't much."
