When Alvin and Fox arrived in the Arctic, Hela's skeleton army had completely surrounded an icy passage.
Hela watched a woman in a golden robe with a grave expression. Loki stood at her side, holding the Casket of Ancient Winters.
Thor, holding the Thunder Axe, wore an unusually serious expression. But he wasn't watching the woman. His eyes were fixed on the Ice Cavern.
Alvin had never been here before. He could only teleport to somewhere near Cobra Base, which he'd visited once, then ride a Chitauri Flying Motorcycle the rest of the way.
On the way, he'd seen countless fragments of bones and several strange dead Xenomorphs.
The discovery put Alvin in a bad mood. Worried that something might have changed at the Pyramid and that he wouldn't be able to keep the situation under control, he hesitated for a long time before finally notifying Stark, Frank, and the others.
Given Alvin's personality, the best thing would have been to charge over alone, take a look, and, if things went badly, unleash another blizzard to put an end to all the Skrulls' schemes.
Unfortunately, it was a good idea in theory, but the world couldn't handle it.
Fox, who knew him well, was the first to talk him out of it...
The several blizzards he'd unleashed in the Arctic had already changed its ecosystem. Several cities near the Arctic Circle were no longer fit for human habitation, and their residents had been forced to migrate south with the government's help.
Even Polar Bears had started going into people's garages to escape the cold, and the seals' habitat was expanding.
Who knew what another blizzard would do?
Most importantly, Fox had received a "notice": the kin of three Demigods were stranded in the Arctic and had lost contact with everyone.
