Stark, possessed by his inner drama queen, struck an alluring pose and turned sideways toward the cameras below the stage. In an affected voice, he sang, "Young men are always willing to sacrifice themselves for love. They're eager for a one-on-one duel!

"We're always willing to choose a man who's full of life, fiery, romantic, and overflowing with love!"

Led by Pepper, the Cheerleading Squad nodded in perfect unison as if they'd rehearsed it, leaned on their umbrellas, and said, "YES!"

Stark blew the cheerleaders a kiss, surrounded by a pack of monsters. Then, with some truly awful acting, he put on a wistful expression and sang a wildly off-key tune to Bruce's blues accompaniment: "Though we always say we love jewels, a gentleman kissing the back of our hand can still make us waver."

Leaning on her umbrella, Pepper twirled her little mustache and solemnly wagged a finger. She pulled a diamond necklace from her pocket, showed it off, then beckoned Stark over with a curl of her finger.

The music paused for a moment, and the spotlight followed Stark, whose ugliness seemed to reach all the way down to his soul...

The "lady" clutched her chest and hesitated. Then, still clutching it, she shyly nodded. As the music turned cheerful, he shuffled back and forth in time with it and sang, "Kisses may be priceless, but they can't be turned into money.

"Love doesn't seem to cover the rent, let alone put food in my cat's bowl.

"Who'll care about us when we're old and faded?

"Only diamonds can be the most reliable companions. Wherever I go, they'll follow.

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend!"

Just as Stark and a bunch of fools started jiggling their hairy legs, making the entire audience burst into laughter, Pepper's Iron Man
