What on Earth Are They Trying to Do?

Stark looked at Alvin's serious expression, feeling something he couldn't quite put into words.

They had always been friends, but having someone always step in front of everyone else at the most dangerous moment was something Stark could never get used to.

Under Alvin's serious gaze, Stark glanced at the detector on his arm, thought for a moment, and said, "I have an idea. Do you have any more of that Dragon Bone?"

Alvin nodded, though he didn't understand why, then fired at the ground again, triggering Level 22 Frost Nova to temporarily ease the rapidly rising temperature.

Without asking anything, Alvin took several basketball-sized pieces of Dragon Bone from his Space Backpack and tossed them to Stark.

Seeing that Venom's biological tissue was about to fail to seal the crack, Alvin ignored Venom's wails, tore off a large piece of tissue from his body, and slapped it over the gap again.

Then, acting quickly, Alvin took out three Thul Runes and embedded them in a solid Gauntlet formed by Venom, adding 42 points of Cold Damage to it.

Alvin then aimed his left hand at the crack and made Venom pound the area around it on the Energy Collector, rapidly, like a Pneumatic Hammer.

As the pounding continued, it was easy to see the temperature there falling. It was slow, but at least they had it under control.

Stark took off the Iron Man Armor gauntlet from his arm, removed a delicate bracelet, and pressed it against the crack. He tapped it, and numerous tiny red flakes sprang from the bracelet, forming a circular funnel that completely sealed the crack.

Then Stark made the circular "funnel" extend a wire and connect it to a piece of Dragon Bone.
