See You Again, Arctic
Alvin shed the armor made of Venom, then took a long, deep breath of the freezing Arctic air.
He looked at the staff around him, shivering violently but still staring intently at the sky. Smiling, he nudged Stark beside him and said, "Looks like a strong spirit really can overcome the cold. What's the temperature here right now?"
Stark was staring at the sky too. He didn't let out a long breath of relief until a tremendous flash erupted somewhere in the distance. Then he sneezed and promptly shut the helmet on his Iron Man Armor. "You probably won't believe me, but I was sweating just now. Now my sweat's frozen."
Alvin smiled as he surveyed the staff, who had suddenly become aware of their surroundings again after the explosion in the sky. The tension had made many of them temporarily forget the cold, but temperatures around minus 150 degrees weren't something even high-end thermal clothing could withstand.
By now, even Steve had taken off his Mechanical Exoskeleton and put on a bulky down jacket.
Steve walked up to Alvin and looked him over, making sure he was unharmed. Then he suddenly grinned and gave him a hug. "So, I guess it's all over now, right?
"The Wolves have their intercontinental final in a week. Maybe you should be there to kick things off..."
As he spoke, Steve watched Alvin laugh and nod. He comically tugged at his padded coat and said with a grin, "Don't ever do this again. If I come down with hypothermia, do you think the Insurance Company will cover my medical bills?"
Alvin smiled and nodded. Steve hoped Blizzard would never be used again. It was a wonderful wish.
