Alvin stood outside the Regis High School team's locker room with Chief George.

Seeing the awkward look on Chief George's face, Alvin gave an embarrassed chuckle and patted his arm. "Buddy, I need you to do me a favor.

If those kids are really scared out of their minds, our championship won't feel deserved.

Go give them a pep talk. Tell them they need to play a great game, no matter what."
