Ginny's Pokémon

Alvin watched as a few soldiers and the strange Flint Marko ushered Paxton, covered in ammunition belts, onto a helicopter.

He turned and glanced at Annie Maggie, who was covering her mouth in disbelief, then said with a smile, "Sometimes a man's courage needs a little encouragement. Paxton's one of those guys.

"You found a good man. You'll be happy together!"

As Alvin spoke, the woman, who seemed to be made of water, let out a "Waaah!" and burst into tears again...

The soldiers watching the scene exchanged smiles and pretended not to notice before returning to the restaurant to keep drinking.

Alvin looked at Annie Maggie with a headache and said helplessly, "Did we go a little too far? Should I have them bring Paxton back?"

Annie Maggie covered her mouth and shook her head as hard as she could. "No, I liked the way he looked just now..."

Alvin sighed up at the sky. He really couldn't understand the thought process of women who cried so easily. They cried when they were happy, when they were scared, when they were worried...

It was as if they couldn't express their feelings without having a good cry!

He turned and gestured for Annie to sit down in the restaurant. Then he saw lively Lucy kneeling on a chair behind the bar, shrugging helplessly at him. Apparently, even this precocious little girl was having trouble putting up with her foster mother's ways.

Alvin liked the little girl, who seemed much older than her years. He gave Lucy a look, signaling her to keep her foster mother company. Then he watched as she grabbed Sam by the arm and rattled off a long list of instructions before darting out from behind the bar and dragging Emma over to the table
