Three Pure Ones Obtain Treasures, Chen Xuan Breaks Through the First Turn

If Tongtian's personality were truly turned into one like Primordial Heavenly Venerable's, then Tongtian would no longer be Tongtian.

Thus, Chen Xuan said nothing further on the matter. He simply took out the Taiji Diagram and handed it to Laozi.

"This is the innate supreme treasure, the Taiji Diagram. It possesses forty-nine innate restrictions and contains the Great Dao laws of Yin and Yang. It is most compatible with the Dao you cultivate."

"Today, as your master, I bestow it upon you. Take it back and refine it well. Strive to refine all forty-nine innate restrictions as soon as possible."

"This is the innate supreme treasure, the Pangu Banner. It contains forty-nine innate restrictions. Like the Taiji Diagram, it was transformed from the Pangu Axe. Today, as your master, I bestow it upon you for your protection."

Primordial Heavenly Venerable thanked Chen Xuan, then began stroking the Pangu Banner in his hands, unable to put it down.

This made Tongtian frantic. At once, he looked toward Chen Xuan with expectant eyes, hoping that he too could receive an innate supreme treasure.

Chen Xuan did not keep Tongtian waiting long. With a wave of his hand toward Tongtian, four treasured swords instantly shot into the sky and landed steadily atop an array diagram.

For a moment, Sha Qi surged into the heavens, and both Laozi and Primordial Heavenly Venerable felt an inexplicable pressure.

"These are the Four Swords of Execution. Together with the Execution Array Diagram, they can form the Immortal-Slaying Formation. Once the Immortal-Slaying Formation emerges, it cannot be broken without four Saints. They are likewise innate supreme treasures and contain forty-nine innate restrictions."

"Today, as your master, I bestow them upon you. Return and study them well. Strive to refine all forty-nine innate restrictions as soon as possible, and successfully set up the Immortal-Slaying Formation."

Tongtian was overjoyed. As he accepted the Four Swords of Execution and the array diagram, he knelt to the ground and kowtowed to Chen Xuan in thanks.

Chen Xuan reached out and helped Tongtian up, then said, "Both the Taiji Diagram and the Pangu Banner can suppress the fortune of a great teaching."

"When you three brothers establish a great teaching in the future, you may use the Taiji Diagram and the Pangu Banner to suppress its fortune."

"As for the Four Swords of Execution and the array diagram in Tongtian's hands, although they cannot suppress the fortune of a great teaching, they are supreme killing treasures that preside over slaughter."

"They can make the great teaching you establish a deterrent to the living beings of all races, so that none of them dares look down upon your sect."

Upon hearing this, the Three Pure Ones were all fired up. Laozi directly asked Chen Xuan, "Master, what teaching should the three of us brothers establish?"

In the original course of the Primordial World, Laozi established the Human Teaching, Primordial Heavenly Venerable established the Teaching of Elucidation, and Tongtian established the Teaching of Interception.

Though people said the three teachings were one family, they were in truth three separate teachings, each upholding different doctrines.

Naturally, Chen Xuan could not allow such a thing to happen again. He immediately said, "You are Pangu's descendants, the children of Big Brother Pangu."

"Big Brother Pangu upheld the will of the Great Dao, split open chaos, and created the Primordial World. You must likewise inherit Big Brother's unfulfilled will and strive in pursuit of the Great Dao."

"Therefore, the great teaching you establish shall be the Dao. It shall be the most orthodox sect in this Primordial World, the sole orthodoxy capable of leading the Primordial World."

"However, the time for you to establish your teaching has not yet come. Unless you attain the Primordial Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm, you must never establish a teaching lightly."

The Three Pure Ones nodded repeatedly, engraving Chen Xuan's instruction firmly in their hearts. They had even begun imagining the day when the three brothers would join hands to enlighten the Primordial World.

Seeing the excited expressions on the Three Pure Ones' faces, Chen Xuan spoke again. "You still have nearly twenty thousand years to refine the innate supreme treasures in your hands."

"Twenty thousand years from now, someone will attain the Primordial Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm and begin expounding the Dao, intending to use it to rule the Primordial World."

"At that time, it will also be time for you to reveal your brilliance and let the living beings of all races in the Primordial World know that Pangu's descendants are the true orthodoxy of this world."

After speaking, he waved his hand at the Three Pure Ones and sent them back to their respective Daoist grounds. He then turned and entered Azure Lotus Palace, beginning another round of secluded cultivation.

This time, Chen Xuan did not intend to continue comprehending the three thousand Great Dao laws in seclusion. Instead, he planned to cultivate the Nine-Turn Mysterious Origin Technique to a certain level.

Comprehending the three thousand Great Dao laws could deepen Chen Xuan's understanding of the Great Dao and further elevate his realm.

But cultivating the Nine-Turn Mysterious Origin Technique could increase Chen Xuan's combat strength. So long as he could cultivate the Nine-Turn Mysterious Origin Technique to the Ninth Turn—

Fortunately, all of this took place deep within chaos. Otherwise, Chen Xuan's mournful cry would likely have thrown the entire Primordial World into panic.

Chen Xuan's fleshly body became a cloud of blood mist, carried in different directions by the currents of chaos. His soul, split into one hundred and eight parts, likewise attached itself to different streams of chaotic qi.

At that moment, an enormous vortex suddenly appeared within chaos. At its center, a seven-colored lotus emerged.

As the lotus slowly manifested, countless currents of chaos were gathered together by it and began condensing into Chen Xuan's body.

As Chen Xuan's body took shape, one hundred and eight streams of chaotic qi flew into it, reuniting his soul and fleshly body.

The next moment, the Three Flowers atop Chen Xuan's head bloomed. Three twelve-grade lotuses slowly revolved, while the laws of nature endlessly flowed back and forth among the Three Flowers.

The Dao artifacts nurtured above the Three Flowers became somewhat more solid at that moment. Even the Heaven, Earth, and Human Flowers began to merge once more.

Once the Three Flowers completed their fusion, Chen Xuan would break through to the Primordial Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm. But with another cry of "Break!", Chen Xuan forced the Three Flowers apart again.

Each time Chen Xuan compressed his cultivation realm, it was equivalent to breaking through to the Primordial Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal realm once. His comprehension of the Great Dao and his combat strength would rise by another level along with it.
