Chen Feng is the largely unknown master of the remote and poorly attended Broken Mountain Martial Arts Hall. The hall has only a little over thirty disciples—far fewer than the larger local halls—and its reputation is so obscure that people speculate Chen Feng was once a retired greenwood hero. 6

When Duan Xuan comes seeking instruction, Chen Feng immediately recognizes his upper second-grade bones but judges his severely depleted blood and qi to be potentially fatal for martial practice. He nevertheless accepts him as a nominal disciple, giving him two months to reach Manifest Force. 5

The arrival of Lin Hu and Liu Mingze, both possessing Class A innate bones, raises Chen Feng's hopes of restoring the hall's standing.
