The layout of the 51st floor was an anomaly among the deep floors.
The walls and floor were smooth and level, unlike anything formed naturally. Instead, they looked as though they had been meticulously carved.
Natural underground passages crisscrossed the area, with an intersection appearing every few steps.
In the dim light provided only by faint phosphorescent dust, Kashu led Ais and the other two through turn after turn without the slightest hesitation, their path completely unobstructed.
Tiona, following behind him, noticed the unusual calm along the way and could not help muttering softly.
"Since entering the 51st floor, we haven't seen a single monster. Did we take the wrong route?"
At that, Tione frowned slightly, and a trace of hesitation crossed Ais's face as well.
Kashu, walking at the front, did not even turn his head as he answered calmly.

The Dungeon's overall structure resembled an inverted giant cone. The deeper one went, the larger its area became.
By the 40th floor, it already covered an area comparable to the entirety of Orario.
One could only imagine how vast the 51st floor was.
Could someone really memorize such a complicated map of routes?
Well, if you said the captain could do it, then that settled it.
While Ais and the other two each mulled it over, Kashu, who was leading the way, stepped into a broad, straight tunnel.
The place was littered with rubble, black hardened hide, and horns of varying lengths. Sticky corrosive trails, as if something had been dragged through the area, still stained the floor and walls.
"Hm? Stay alert. Something's strange here."
Kashu signaled for the three behind him to stay
