Appearance
Kashu is a silver-haired young man with silver eyes, most often seen in formal magical attire or clothing suited to the world he is visiting. He normally carries a sword at his waist and is frequently accompanied by Fou. 117 221 256
- Silver hair and silver eyes.
- Calm, refined bearing that often causes others to mistake him for an experienced knight rather than a newcomer.
- Wields an ornate holy sword that manifests amid golden motes of light. 63 87
- Commonly wears Chaldea-style formal clothing outside combat. 48
- Often keeps Fou on his shoulder, in his collar, or in his arms. 26 79 271
Personality
Kashu is composed, blunt, and difficult to intimidate. He tends to assess a situation before acting, whether he is studying ley lines in Fuyuki, exposing flaws in Hagun Academy’s selection process, or identifying an enemy’s hidden agenda. 43 98 59 He dislikes wasting time on performative combat and favors real battles with meaningful stakes. 43
His calmness does not mean passivity. Kashu is openly ruthless toward enemies who endanger civilians or exploit others, including demons, corrupt officials, and hostile magi. At the same time, he consistently protects people who cannot protect themselves, such as Nezuko, Haruhime, festival spectators, and communities under attack. 10 154 192 304
He has a scholarly curiosity about unfamiliar powers, bodies, and systems. This is evident in his interest in Nezuko’s demon physiology, his rapid analysis of Blazer abilities, and his willingness to learn spatial manipulation from Shiroyasha. 11 186 304 Despite his overwhelming strength, he can be playful with Fou and teasing toward friends or rivals. 21 59

History
Orario and the Dungeon
Kashu begins his documented journey in Orario, where he receives a Status and tests his abilities against kobolds in the Dungeon. 2 His growth is abnormally rapid, drawing Loki’s suspicion and attention after his ability values rise dramatically within a day. 4
He pushes into deeper Dungeon floors, battles Minotaurs and snakefish, and deliberately trains weaker parameters rather than immediately rushing another level-up. 4 6 Loki guides him through the adventurer advancement system and later conducts his Mage Development Ability ceremony. 6 62
Demon Slayer Corps
After passing through a dimensional gateway, Kashu enters the world of demon slayers. He kills Rui, saves Tanjiro Kamado, heals him, and presents himself to Giyu Tomioka as a European knight responding to the Voice of Revelation. 8
Kagaya Ubuyashiki invites Kashu to aid the Corps after foreseeing him wielding a platinum holy sword against Muzan Kibutsuji. 11 Kashu becomes interested in Nezuko’s ability to retain her humanity as a demon and stays at the Butterfly Mansion to observe her condition and review the Ubuyashiki family’s records. 11
After effortlessly defeating Tengen, Sanemi, and Obanai, Kashu teaches the Hashira about the Transparent World. Kagaya establishes the position of Commander-in-Chief for him and orders a month of intensive training. 20 The Corps later holds a farewell celebration when Kashu departs the world. 29
Hagun Academy
Kashu enrolls at Hagun Academy as an A-Rank Blazer and immediately criticizes Chairman Kurono Shinguuji’s single-elimination selection format for the Seven Stars Sword-Art Festival. 42 Kurono accepts his proposal to postpone the tournament and grants him authority over the selection process. 43
He becomes Ikki Kurogane’s dorm mate, reproduces Ikki’s Mirage Wolf technique, and helps Stella Vermillion awaken the dragon-like origin beneath her flame magic. 43 44 55 Kashu later defeats Ouma Kurogane, uncovers the Yingzhou Branch’s connection to the Rebel Army, and helps expose its conspiracy. 59 61
Upon returning for the Seven Stars Sword-Art Festival, Kashu defeats Amane Shinomiya’s causality-based power and protects spectators from Ressen Hiraga’s hostage tactics. 186 192
Holy Grail Wars
Kashu uses his holy sword as a catalyst to summon Merlin, although Fou’s interference alters the ritual. 87 He forms a Master–Servant contract with Merlin and investigates Fuyuki’s ley lines during the Holy Grail War. 88 98
He fights Artoria, confronts Angra Mainyu, and advances through the black mud surrounding the Shinto Civic Center under Avalon’s protection. 107 109 112 After purifying the corrupted Greater Grail, he absorbs its power into his holy sword and reveals that he comes from a parallel world. 133
In the later Red and Black Holy Grail War, Kashu joins the Clock Tower’s side, summons Mordred, and refuses to rely on the Holy Church’s joint operations. 115 116 117 118 He battles Servants of Black, withstands attacks from Karna and Achilles, and ultimately defeats Shirou Kotomine’s side. 129 130 131 133
Godslayer Demon Kings
Kashu awakens in the Hidden World, where Epimetheus explains the Ring of Usurpation and the ritual allowing humans to kill gods. 157 Kashu defeats the God King Melqart with Tyrannical Space-Sunder, survives the collapse of the dimension, and inherits Melqart’s divine Authority. 158
Guinevere and Lancelot mistake him for King Arthur after he appears with the Savior Divine Blade. Kashu accepts their aid but chooses to target Godslayer Demon Kings rather than blindly follow their expectations. 159 160 He fights Luo Hao, learns to combine Authority with martial arts, and reveals himself as a Child of the Stars during the battle at Takamagahara. 173 175
Following Takamagahara’s destruction, Kashu awakens Savior Starlight and leaves the world after reclaiming the Godslayers’ Authorities, though he is temporarily unable to return to the Type-Moon world because of his unstable power. 178
Chaldea and Human Order
In a post-apocalyptic desert beneath the Light of Human Order Incineration, Kashu completes his LV.7 ascension ritual and searches for Mash Kyrielight. 256 He confronts the Lion King in the Holy City, defeats her in a clash of divine Authorities, and reunites with Mash after Fou reveals their connection. 258 260
Kashu later enters the Seventh Singularity alongside Artoria and Mordred. He helps defend Uruk, seals a rift beneath Eridu Temple, confronts the Goddess of Demonic Beasts, and investigates the Underworld’s spreading Authority of Death. 277 280 281 283
Little Garden
Kashu reaches Little Garden and joins No Name after encountering Izayoi Sakamaki and Black Rabbit. 300 The world recognizes his history of salvation by granting him the Savior Divinity, and Shiroyasha teaches him spatial manipulation. 304
He provides supplies to No Name through his pocket dimension, gives the Divinities of King Arthur and Knights of the Round Table to Artoria and Mordred, and repeatedly acts to defend the community from Demon Lords and invading forces. 304 320 He later breaks the rules of a Gift Game to kill a pure-blooded dragon with Excalibur Soteria and takes Ophiuchus’s Sun Authority. 323
