Background / History

Minato assisted Tsunade’s disciple, Hyuga Yuto, when Yuto’s development of Lion Fang Severance stalled. He identified chakra as flowing energy rather than armor and personally studied the technique with Yuto; his early guidance helped establish its eventual S-rank form. 19 31

At the outbreak of the Third Shinobi World War, Minato served as a deputy commander. He led an elite advance unit composed of reconnaissance and tactical surprise-attack forces, using Flying Thunder God to provide unmatched battlefield support. 53 55
