"One-hit kill? As expected of KING."

Saitama's eyes lit up. After hearing Genos's words, he became somewhat expectant as well.

Pfft—blood gushed from Wu Di's arm, yet his expression remained unchanged.

"Die right here."

G4's entire body flashed with dazzling light as its power output was pushed to the limit. Waves of sword light came crashing down like an overwhelming tide.

"Machine God Severing Slash!!!"

Rumble—terrifying explosions kicked up countless clouds of dust, swallowing Wu Di's figure within them.

"Strength around Peak Demon-level. It seems your organization really is no ordinary one."

"What?"

G4 suddenly discovered that its massive metal sword would not budge in the slightest. A pale hand had firmly gripped the blade.

"Either tell me who's pulling the strings behind the Machine God Organization, or die!"

Wu Di's gaze was icy cold, and G4 seemed to have been provoked as well.

"You bastard, don't get too full of yourself!"

Crack—before G4 had even finished speaking, the massive metal sword in its hand was crushed to pieces by Wu Di's single hand.

Boom—Wu Di moved like lightning, smashing G4's armor to pieces with one punch.

"It's over! What incredible power!"

Genos was utterly shocked from afar. Such sturdy armor had actually been blown apart by KING with a single punch. He truly deserved to be called the Strongest Man on Earth.

Yet Wu Di did not relax at all. Instead, he stared ahead with great interest as a small robot entered his field of vision.

"No, that's that guy's real body! He saw through it from the very beginning?"

Genos finally understood why KING had never let down his guard. He had known all along that the robot was not the opponent's true body.

"Laser Beam!"

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—countless purple laser beams burst from G4's true body, covering everything within a hundred-meter radius as violent explosions rang out without end.

Boom—Wu Di's aura had now risen to a terrifying level. With one strike, he interrupted G4's attack and destroyed more than half of its mechanical body.

"This guy's performance is indeed superior to mine. To achieve the goal Teacher Saitama set for me, I need that robot's parts."

Just as Genos made up his mind, he discovered that Saitama, who had been beside him, had vanished at some point.

"Hey! You're really strong, aren't you?"

Wu Di stared blankly at the suddenly appearing Saitama, a bad feeling abruptly rising in his heart.

Whoosh—a mechanical arm suddenly appeared and firmly seized G4's true body. Genos then stepped forward.

"KING! Can you hand this guy over to me? I need the parts on him."

Wu Di grumbled madly inside. With Saitama and Genos here, this Peak Demon-level monster would probably slip through his fingers again.

"Ahem... all right. He isn't of much use to me anyway, so you can have him."

Wu Di coughed twice. The two before him knew him far too well; any unnecessary movement could easily expose his identity.

"Thank you!"

Genos breathed a sigh of relief. After all, there were not many S-Class Heroes as easygoing as KING.

" Ding—Mission triggered: eliminate ten Machine God Organization members, collect materials, and destroy the Machine God Organization base. Reward: 50,000 Talent Points, one Functional Weapon, and three random Trial Cards."

"Functional Weapon: Can freely change form during battle. Its power increases with the host's strength."

I have to get that weapon!

The instant Wu Di saw the mission issued by the system, he made up his mind. What he lacked most right now was a weapon that suited him.

"Ten Machine God Organization members... I didn't expect there to be so many. I just wonder where their base is."

Beep, beep, beep—Wu Di was pondering how to begin the mission when he suddenly noticed a red light flashing from G4's chest.

"Reverse tracking!"

Wu Di's eyes lit up, and he immediately walked over to Genos.

"You're the S-Class Hero Genos, right?"

"Yes."

"I can hand him over to you, but you have to agree to one condition."

"What is it?"

"This is very simple for you. I hope you can introduce me to Dr. Kusuno. There are some things I'd like to ask him about."

"How do you know the doctor?"

Genos was somewhat surprised. Aside from Saitama and Wu Di, he had never told anyone else about his relationship with Dr. Kusuno.

"Don't underestimate the Hero Association's investigative abilities. Our backgrounds and identities are all in the Association's grasp."

Wu Di's heart skipped a beat, but he immediately put on an inscrutable expression.

"I see. I didn't expect them to be able to investigate even that. All right, I agree!"

Only then did Wu Di nod in satisfaction. Trading a Peak Demon-level monster for the location of the Machine God Organization was not a loss.

The two then went their separate ways from Saitama. Under Genos's lead, Wu Di arrived at a concealed experimental base.

"Dr. Kusuno, this is the person I told you about on the phone earlier."

"Seventh S-Class Hero, Mr. KING. I've long admired your name."

An elderly man dressed in a white research coat, his face covered in wrinkles, approached Wu Di.

"You're too kind. I've come this time because I have a favor to ask. Could we speak privately?"

Wu Di spoke bluntly, and Genos did not mind in the slightest, since the two sides had already discussed it beforehand.

"All right, follow me. Genos, I'll replace your damaged parts with useful ones shortly."

"Thank you, Doctor!"

As Wu Di and Dr. Kusuno entered the room, Genos clenched his fist as well.

I'm getting closer and closer to the goal Teacher set for me!

"What is it? You can say it now."

Inside the sealed room, Dr. Kusuno looked sharply at Wu Di, as though he had seen through his thoughts.

"I hope you can use the tracker on G4 to trace the Machine God Organization's location in reverse."

Wu Di told him frankly. He had always felt that Dr. Kusuno seemed to know something.

"As expected, you're tracking the cyborgs too? Is it because of Genos?"

Dr. Kusuno wore an expression of understanding.

"No. It's... a commission from the Hero Association. The Machine God Organization has already caused massive losses and must be eliminated as soon as possible."

"I know. That child Genos has been pursuing the cyborgs that destroyed his hometown, and the hatred in his heart has never diminished. But he's too impatient, and too young."

"And I do know some things about the Machine God Organization. Not only is it connected to the cyborgs, it even involves high-ranking members of the Hero Association. The strength of just a handful of us is far too insignificant."

Dr. Kusuno's words sent shockwaves through Wu Di's heart. He had not expected the web of connections behind the Machine God Organization to be so complicated.

"But if it's you, perhaps there is a way. That's also why I agreed to let Genos bring you to meet me."

Dr. Kusuno stared intently at Wu Di. Perhaps the man before him, known as the Strongest Man on Earth, truly could do it.

"Next, I'll help you track down the Machine God Organization's location. The rest is up to you."
