History

Bang was the Hero Association's third-ranked S-Class Hero, known as Silver Fang. He was regarded as one of its foremost martial artists during major crises, including the Dark Matter Pirates' attack on City A. 29

Garou was Bang's most gifted disciple, mastering the essence of Water Stream Cracking Fist unusually quickly. Bang blamed himself for failing to guide Garou onto the right path and remained unwilling to abandon or kill him after Garou became a hero hunter. 64

During Centipede Elder's rampage, Bang and his brother Bampf fought together to prevent the monster from reaching the city. Their combined Fang Dragon Killing Fist severely cracked the creature's shell. 65 Bang later faced the monsterized Garou himself, declaring it the last time he would go all out as Silver Fang; KING respected the master-disciple bond and left the confrontation to him. 90

Bang's decision to let Garou go caused the Hero Association to exclude him and Bampf from the initial Monster Association operation. He nevertheless returned when the battle escalated, accepting responsibility for Garou's actions. 77 87

He is humble about his age and limitations, openly acknowledging that his body cannot endure as much as it once could. 66 However, he remains resolute when others are in danger and will fight alongside his allies despite retirement or personal risk. 65 87

As a teacher, Bang welcomes determined students and is willing to guide those with genuine heroic spirit, including Mumen Rider. 137 143
