Tang Wulin was born in the God Realm before his memories were sealed and he was sent to Douluo Continent. He grew up in Aolai City under the care of his adoptive parents, Lang Yue and Tang Ziran; a surviving photograph also connects his childhood to Na’er. 17 108

Ten thousand years before the novel’s present, Tang Wulin and Gu Yuena chose to seal themselves in ice after their final battle. Tang Sect records later reveal that their condition was not death, but “absolute stillness,” sustained until the planet’s life energy and their yearning for reunion enabled their awakening. 1 34
