• Dugu Lin entered Slaughter City, survived the Hell Slaughter Arena, and partnered with Hu Liena as they each won one hundred matches.
• Dugu Lin and Hu Liena rejected the Slaughter King's offer and passed Hell Road, where Dugu Lin defeated the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent and claimed its inner core and torso Soul Bone.

The tournament ended with Tang Hao possessed by a god escaping with Tang San, as Spirit Hall detained Shrek Academy and prepared for war.

• Dugu Lin revealed his Spirit Album to Qian Renxue, demonstrated that it could record and summon Martial Souls and Soul Beasts, and offered to help the Worship Hall hunt powerful beasts once he reached Soul Power Level eighty.
• Dugu Bo and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect publicized an auction of Immortal Herbs and other resources, drawing major factions into a bidding contest that included Ning Fengzhi, Qian Renxue, Yue Guan, and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan.
• Yu Xiaogang used the Nine-Grade Purple Ganoderma to break through to level 30, while Dugu Lin learned that Tang San had reached level fifty-four and continued developing his unusual powers.

The arc ended with Dugu Lin’s group arriving at Purple Pearl Island on their way to Sea God Island, while Yu Xiaogang’s companions set out for the Star Luo Empire.

After recovering Little Lin and recruiting powerful allies, he began assembling humans and soul beasts for a plan to confront the God Realm.

• Dugu Lin passed the Sea God trials, but the succession changed his martial soul and Soul Power, so he demanded that Bo Saixi and the Sacred Pillar Douluos submit or die.
• Dugu Lin fought the Sea God after the god possessed Little Lin and revealed that he had made Dugu Lin High Priest to create a vessel for himself.
