In the battle the day before yesterday, Pei Yue had revealed a tiny flaw under Daoist Zuo's workings. Zhang Yu had seized it and slain him with a single sword stroke.
In truth, even without anyone interfering, Zhang Yu would have cut him down within a few more moves at most. Yet Daoist Zuo's intervention had always left him feeling as though something was missing.
