In the Eastern Land of the Primordial Land, outside a city that had been renamed "Pan City" over a decade ago, more than a dozen youths were arranging a duel on a barren mountain.
Interestingly, every one of the youths involved in this arranged fight was named "Pan."
Starting three years ago, no one knew who had started it, but arranged fights over changing one's name began popping up. Many children had been born that day, and quite a few of them had been named "Pan." As these Pans gradually grew older, they naturally came to dislike one another on sight.
Thus began the arranged duels where the loser had to change their name.
This was extremely well-known in Pan City. Even some adults took part—though only as spectators and referees.
However, there were no referees at today's arranged fight, only a dozen or so youths. Yet high in the clouds, quite a few spectators had gathered to watch the show without the boys' knowledge.
One of the youths shouted, "All of you, come at me together! I don't have time to waste here with you. Once I beat you all, I need to go travel the world."
The youth was tall and imposing, with an exceptional heroic bearing. Judging by his build, he did not look like a mere twelve- or thirteen-year-old boy. People would have believed he was seventeen or eighteen.
