As he secured allies and celestial gifts, Hu Sanniang revealed that Zhao Wuya had murdered Li City God and was secretly manipulating Jiangdu’s fates.

• Black Baleful Devil Lord transformed into a true devil to fight the poisoned Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King while Lu Chen completed the Destiny-Fixing Soul-Calming Lotus and took control of the Seven-Treasure Exquisite Pagoda.
• Nezha attacked the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King as Lu Chen piloted the pagoda toward the Southern Heavenly Gate, and Venus Star later arranged Lu Chen’s appointment as Registrar of Horse Fodder.
