The youth's face showed shock. This was only a small child, yet he had actually brushed aside his iron arrow with one hand. It was simply unbelievable! One had to know that with a swing of his arms, he could lift five or six bronze cauldrons. Those thick iron arrows could pierce stone and split gold; such tremendous force was beyond what ordinary people could withstand, enough to shoot down a Dragon-Horned Elephant.
The people of Bei Village were astonished. No one knew better than they did how terrifying Bei Feng was. He possessed extraordinary talent and astonishing divine strength, something exceedingly rare. How could a mere child have knocked aside his iron arrow?!
"You're courting death!" Bei Feng snapped. Beams of light burst from his eyes like twin bolts of lightning. He exhaled sharply, drew his great bow, and fired arrow after arrow.
"Whoosh," "whoosh"...
The iron arrows tore through the sky with mournful whistles, like ghostly cries from the underworld. Their thick, long shafts gave off a chilling metallic gleam as they flew over at terrifying speed.
Bei Feng kept drawing his bow, firing eight iron arrows in succession. They came whistling in, every one of them terrifying, all aimed at Little Dot's vital points!
Shi Hao moved like a nimble ape, stretching his limbs with natural grace. He swiftly dodged five arrows, then struck out with both hands, knocking the other three aside. They plunged deep into the rocks with ringing clangs.
Such a display left everyone stunned!
Even the people of Stone Village stood dumbfounded. Shi Hao's performance had far exceeded their expectations. For one so young to be capable of this felt utterly unreal.
Bei Feng gave a sharp cry and drew his bow wildly. Iron arrows poured down in a torrential rain, thick iron shafts piercing through the forest one after another.
Though Shi Hao was small, he was incredibly fast. He leaped like a tiger and soared like a flood dragon, dodging the arrows while striking out with both hands. His palms collided with the shafts in ringing blows, sending many iron arrows flying.
His agility was nothing like that of a child. In an instant, he covered dozens of meters, and in the blink of an eye he was nearly upon Bei Feng. As he rose and fell, he resembled a fledgling Golden-Winged Roc, already displaying an extraordinary bearing.
"Boom!"
The wild arrows fell like rain, growing ever denser. Little Dot shouted and kicked up a thousand-jin boulder along the way. With a thunderous crash, it shot into the air and smashed toward the cold-faced Bei Feng.
"How can he have such great strength? He's not even four years old!"
The crowd shuddered. It was truly eye-popping. Only a few people vaguely saw runes flash and vanish when Shi Hao unleashed that immense strength, but they were too swift to see clearly.
The thousand-jin boulder cut through the air and came crashing down.
Bei Feng's eyes turned cold. He stopped firing and swung his bow, which was more than half a man's height, smashing it fiercely into the boulder. With a boom, the massive rock instantly shattered and scattered in every direction!
But Shi Hao had seized the chance and pounced right up to him. Angrily, he demanded, "Why are you so unreasonable? You tried to shoot Uncle A-Fu, and you even want to steal the prey we need to survive."
Bei Feng snorted coldly and tossed aside his bow. He drew a dark-red spear forged from blood-patterned iron, gripped it with both hands, and thrust fiercely at Little Dot's chest.
Shi Hao was in midair at that moment, moving directly forward. It was difficult for him to evade, and the hearts of the Stone Village people nearly leaped from their chests. They all hated Bei Feng bitterly, for his attack was vicious beyond measure.
"Clang!"
A metallic tremor rang out. Shi Hao's eyes were clear and bright as his right hand swung in a graceful arc, giving off a pale glow. With a clang, he sliced the spear in two, while his tender little hand remained completely unharmed.
The outcome left everyone slack-jawed. Shi Hao, still so young, had clashed head-on with the powerful Bei Feng without falling behind. He had charged from far away to right before him, displaying overwhelming force.
"Whoosh..."
Bei Feng suddenly flung the broken spearhead at Little Dot's right eye. It was decisive and vicious; at such close range, it was extraordinarily dangerous.
Shi Hao tilted his head aside to evade it. Still in midair, he swung his right leg down in a sweeping kick toward Bei Feng's face, carrying a powerful gust. Though he was small, his posture was exceptionally graceful, his movements natural and fluid, like a swift swallow gliding through the air.
"Bang!"
Bei Feng blocked with his left arm, producing a dull, thunderous impact.
The shock sent leaves from nearby trees flying and raining down in great swaths, as though an autumn wind had swept through. "What incredible strength!"
The people of Bei Village wore looks of disbelief. They knew Bei Feng's divine strength was extraordinary. Though still a youth, he already had few equals within thousands of li. Yet now, he could not gain the upper hand.
Shi Hao landed on the ground. Though he was so young and far shorter than Bei Feng, he showed no fear whatsoever. His little face puffed up in anger, his large eyes wide as he faced him in a standoff.
Both sides halted, captivated by the duel between this powerful youth and the astonishing child, all waiting to see who would emerge victorious.
Bei Feng's expression was gloomy, cold light flashing in his eyes. He was already fourteen, while his opponent appeared to be under four. That evenly matched clash had been a humiliation to him.
"Boom!"
Bei Feng's body was tall and slender. He suddenly swept out a leg like an iron post, the terrifying force roaring as though some colossal beast had crashed forward.
Shi Hao retreated. Having grown up in the mountains and forests, though he had never fought in real combat, he understood much. He avoided the opponent's edge and leaped several meters back.
However, Bei Feng had killed savage beasts, slaughtered unusual birds, and even shot powerful men. His combat experience was abundant, so naturally he knew how to maintain the initiative and hold the upper hand.
He leaped into the air, covering several meters in a single bound. His right leg spun down like an iron whip, unstoppable. The fierce wind stung people's faces, one killing move following another.
Several ancient trees stood behind Shi Hao, leaving him no room to retreat or evade. With his back against a massive tree, Shi Hao crossed his hands and raised them with all his strength. Several symbols flashed and disappeared.
"Boom!"
It was as though two massive beasts had collided. Sand and stones flew, dust soared into the sky, and fallen leaves scattered everywhere. Both of them shook violently, and as Bei Feng's kick came down, it snapped the huge tree behind Shi Hao, which was over a meter thick.
With a thunderous crash, the towering ancient tree broke and fell across the mountainside, creating an astonishing commotion.
This time, the people of Bei Village saw clearly. Symbols seemed to be flashing in Shi Hao's palms. It was that power that had blocked Bei Feng's several-thousand-jin strike, despite his exceptional talent.
"A precious artifact! That child is holding a rare precious artifact!" they cried.
No matter what, they refused to believe that Shi Hao had already grasped the profound secrets of powerful bone runes. They believed the bracelet on his wrist, made from polished beast fangs, was responsible, for a crystalline sheen was indeed flowing from it.
The eyes of the Bei Village group all reddened. Though it was not a clan-protecting treasure, it was still a fine precious artifact. If it could enhance a child's strength to such an extent, it had to be extraordinary.
After kicking through the giant tree, Bei Feng's fierce momentum did not diminish. His attacks became even swifter and more violent. His legs swept like iron posts, shattering giant trees again and again as broken branches and dead leaves flew everywhere.
Shi Hao refused to be outdone and began to counterattack. Though he was very small, every leap carried him several meters into the air. He pounced forward like a young roc spreading its wings!
"Boom!"
Bei Feng's fist wind rumbled like thunder. He threw a punch, and Shi Hao dodged it. The blow struck a boulder weighing several thousand jin and exploded it outright, chunks weighing hundreds or even thousands of jin shattering and flying in all directions.
The sight was extraordinarily shocking. He was only a teenage youth, yet he possessed such terrifying brute strength that all the adults gasped sharply.
Little Dot was still young. Although his divine strength was already remarkable for his age, his raw power was still inferior to Bei Feng's. Yet with the mysterious power of bone runes aiding him, he was not afraid.
They moved with astonishing speed, rising and falling like rabbits and falcons. Every strike was terrifying, their fist winds booming like thunder as they knocked down trees and shattered rocks.
After exchanging dozens of moves, Bei Feng's expression darkened. He was a peerless genius, yet he had failed to gain the upper hand over a child not even four years old. How could he bear such humiliation?
"Bang!"
This time, after attacking with all his strength, he suddenly bent down and lowered his head. A volley of crossbow bolts shot out from his back, flashing with cold light as they struck directly at Little Dot's eyes and face.
Everyone from Stone Village cried out. It had come far too suddenly. Then the entire group became enraged. Bei Feng was too sinister; against a mere child, he would stop at nothing, acting with such viciousness.
Little Dot was startled, but he was not afraid. His hands moved, and patterns emerged from his fingertips, forming a small crescent moon that he grasped in his palm. With a fierce swing, specks of light spread outward and shattered every crossbow bolt.
The people of Stone Village let out long breaths. They had truly broken out in cold sweat just now.
"That brat is far too vicious. When he grows up, he'll definitely become a menace!" Shi Feijiao said angrily.
Bei Feng secretly fumed that he had failed to hit him. He leaped six or seven meters into the air and stomped down at Little Dot from above with irresistible force.
"Whoosh!"
Shi Hao's large eyes were clear as he charged upward of his own accord. He spread his hands like an eagle striking across the sky, his movements domineering and fierce, closely resembling the Azure-Scaled Eagle when it pierced through the clouds.
"Boom!"
The crescent light flashed once more in his palm, transforming into a brilliant glow that surged forth to meet Bei Feng. They collided heavily, unleashing a powerful storm.
"Pfft!"
This time, Bei Feng spat out blood and was sent flying sideways. He crashed through the branches of many large trees before falling to the ground. Little Dot immediately pressed the attack!
