Background / History

During the assault on Nuoding Academy by unidentified soul masters, Gu Yue intercepts Little Seven and Tang Wulin in a corridor and directs them through a secret passage toward the rear mountain. The escape route is already surrounded by Holy Spirit Cult forces led by a silver-masked man. 3

When the attackers demand Tang Wulin and Little Seven's Golden Dragon-related powers and artifacts, Gu Yue uses spatial teleportation to remove all three from the encirclement and bring them to Shrek City. She tends to Little Seven's wounds after their arrival. 3

Gu Yue later identifies herself as the heir of the Spirit Pagoda. She explains that the black-clad attackers belong to the Holy Spirit Cult, which seeks the powers of the Golden and Silver Dragon Kings to resurrect the Dragon God. She has already contacted Shrek Academy, leading to Zhao Wuji's arrival to escort the group. 3

Personality

Gu Yue is quiet and composed under pressure. Rather than joining the academy's evacuation, she prepares an alternate escape route and acts decisively once the group is trapped. 3

She is protective of Little Seven and Tang Wulin, risking direct confrontation with a force whose weakest members are Soul Kings. Although she initially keeps her identity private, she answers their questions directly after bringing them to safety. 3
