The green motes seemed to have received some kind of command and surged toward him at once. They seeped into his body through every pore, flowed along his meridians into his dantian, and merged with his Soul Power, transforming into an unprecedentedly abundant energy.

He had never seen the color of that Soul Ring before. It was not the usual yellow, purple, black, or red left behind after a soul beast was slain, but an incomparably pure green of life, as green as the first tender leaf of early spring. Yet its edges shimmered with a faint golden halo, as though sunlight had traced a thin border around it.
