Nazarick Is No Pushover Either

How strong was Nazarick?

Perhaps only Ainz could provide a detailed answer to that question.

On the surface, the ones from the Great Tomb of Nazarick who often moved about outside were Ainz, the Ruler of Death; the nine level-100 NPCs personally created by the Supreme Beings; and the battle maids.

Yet these were not the entirety of the Great Tomb of Nazarick's strength. Even calling them the greater part would have been somewhat presumptuous.

Starting from the weakest, the army of undead alone numbered in the thousands.

Setting aside the undead creatures that spawned daily due to the Great Tomb's properties, the undead legions personally assembled by the guild were as follows.

There were roughly three thousand Nazarick Veteran Guards. These undead, generally around levels 30 to 40, could be considered advanced skeletal sentries. Equipped with magically enchanted weapons and capable of training combat skills, they did not fight with the stiff, sluggish movements one might expect from skeletons. Instead, they were as nimble and swift as weapon masters.

There were roughly two thousand Nazarick Master Guards, averaging around levels 50 to 60. Their higher levels granted them superior stats and allowed them to wear higher-grade equipment.

There were roughly one thousand Nazarick Expert Guards. These skeletal warriors, over level 70, wore gleaming, ornate golden armor and scarlet cloaks without the slightest stain draped from their backs.

Though their numbers were vast, numbers were useless before an overwhelming level gap. In Ainz's memory, even a single level of difference created a disparity in stats such as attack and defense. Once the gap reached 28 levels, the weaker side was basically incapable of piercing the stronger side's defenses.

Even if they could, the injuries they inflicted could easily be healed through natural recovery.
