Fulgrim thought of several people.
The first to come to mind was Ferrus. The bond between him and this brother was beyond words. Fulgrim believed that even if he fell to the deepest abyss, stubborn Ferrus would come racing over in a crude steel chariot.
It was still rather strange to imagine.

The second was Sanguinius, who drew everyone's gaze like a beam of light. Though Fulgrim prided himself on having the finest taste and artistic talent among his brothers, he would still stare blankly for a moment upon seeing Sanguinius's perfect golden hair and white wings, lamenting that he was not yet perfect enough.
Third, Fulgrim thought of Vulkan. This brother was immensely kind. He did not wish to see any human suffer, nor did he wish to see deep rifts form between brothers. Though his efforts achieved little, he was always trying to act as the lubricant between them and make their relationships more harmonious.

Name after name flashed through his mind: childish Magnus, savage Leman Russ, cold Lion El'Jonson, inscrutable Roboute Guilliman, gloomy and discontented Mortarion, solitary Jaghatai, taciturn Corax, confident and composed Horus, mysterious and unpredictable Alpharius, stubborn and old-fashioned Rogal Dorn, and Lorgar, whose mind had been consumed by religion...
