Dehalan Industrial Zone, a newly established industrial district with little history, lay east of Hades Hive. With a reasonably fast aircraft, one could fly from the walls to the center of Dehalan Industrial Zone—a massive tank factory—in just half an hour.

Pipelines extending from there ran directly into the city walls, with all wastewater discharge controlled by periodically opening automatic gates. Though those thick pipes were filled with deadly radiation and chemicals, anyone who could endure the pollution capable of melting flesh could "safely" attack the heart of Dehalan Industrial Zone through them.

The Ork tide swiftly surrounded the entirety of Hades Hive and began assaulting the city from every direction. The charges and battles against Planetary Defense Force positions that the Orks had anticipated never came. The mines buried in the ground made their assault on Hades Hive incredibly boring.

After watching their comrades get blown to pieces by anti-personnel mines, some Orks abandoned the Waaagh! and headed deep into the subcontinent to fight the Planetary Defense Force troops defending themselves along rivers and mountains.

The Orks did not need much effort to blast open Hades Hive's metal gates with the super-invincible, ultra-cool rocket thingies in their hands. The cannons and Hydra cannons atop the walls were stripped clean, while the immovable fortress guns had been blown into scrap by Hades' garrison.

Having found no weapons or useful scrap, the Orks grew angry and bored. They turned their cannons and big shootas on the evacuated hive dwellings to vent their frustration. The Orks wandered through Hades Hive's streets, the enormous hive structure perfectly dispersing the mass of their army. Those junk armored vehicles that had been like a flood
