Abaddon ordered Harken to conduct an armed investigation. Meanwhile, the command centers of the Iron Warriors and Black Templars erupted into chaos.
Just as Abaddon had said, the conflict between Perturabo and Rogal Dorn was irreconcilable. Thus, their sons also bore deep hatred for one another and attacked without mercy.

The Black Legion, originally the main attacking force, seemed almost restrained beside the Iron Warriors' fury toward Dorn's sons.
A Warsmith hurled the telescope he had used to observe the bombardment's results to the ground, then roared into the encrypted communication system.
"What happened? Did I just hear something utterly damned?"
"They said our father shamefully joined the Imperium's side, and they provocatively sent over two sets of coordinates!"
"Who the fuck did this? Was it those brain-dead idiots from the Hydra Legion? Or did the Emperor's Children get too high on drugs? How dare they say such bullshit?"
"That's not even the main point. There was a statement from Dorn after that. Did you hear it? That voice... the moment I heard it, a nameless fire rose inside me... Is this sorcery? Or something else?"
"I don't know what it is! I only know those bastards who fabricated these messages fucking deserve to die! They should be handed over to that bastard Honsou, so he can toss these idiots into daemon wombs to be raised!"
The encrypted channel was filled with the savage, merciless curses of the Warsmiths—and only their curses. Any Iron Warrior of lower rank or standing
