Lin Fan had never seen the Warp so violent and enraged. Even after wandering through the territories of the Dark Gods several times, he had never witnessed such furious soul lightning.
The bubble-like Gellar Field looked so fragile. Faced with lightning far larger than the warship itself, Lin Fan's heart pounded with fear.
It would be one thing if something happened to someone else, but if anything happened to this ship, the trouble would be enormous.
But since Oedmeir had dared to do this, she surely had her reasons.
The Gellar Field stubbornly withstood the bombardment of soul lightning. Lin Fan could even see the lightning shattering against the field, leaving behind the twisted, unwilling faces of demons.
Within the raging Warp, Oedmeir searched for the largest, fiercest waves. She intended to send the ship to the crest, then let it be carried away into the distance, straight to their destination.
"Next, make sure you protect the spherical cockpit!"
After warning Lin Fan, Oedmeir focused all her attention on the Warp engine and the Warp itself. She even lowered the Gellar Field's energy around the bridge so the spherical cockpit could receive more valuable information.
As she did so, Warp corruption began eroding the entire ship. The statue of The Emperor at the stern radiated sacred, inviolable light, protecting the rear section of the vessel.
Lin Fan himself had to face the wash of the raging Warp torrent.
He gave a bitter smile at Oedmeir's audacity, then, empowered by the divine strength Khorne had granted him, used War Sight to observe the hostility of the unaligned demons.
Demons as ethereal as white smoke seeped in from outside, shrieking sharply as they prepared to plunge into the spherical cockpit and seize control of the entire warship.
But Lin Fan was quick.
