Lin Fan caught sight of Khorne and the legion under his command, and suddenly felt that this hot-tempered, half-crippled lunatic demigod was not so annoying after all.
Still, he did not provoke Khorne any further. He simply continued holding back the demons, keeping them from threatening Oedmeir's operation.
Khorne did not turn his attention to him first either. He merely had his forces slaughter the masterless demons that did not know their place.

Khorne raised the World-Ending Blade. The power of war it carried churned the tides of the Warp. Though terrifying in momentum, it inadvertently created a massive wave that swept toward the warship.
Oedmeir seized the opportunity as well, driving the Warp engines at full force to meet the wave's impact. The entire warship rode atop its crest and surged a great distance forward with the current.
"You think you can escape like that?"
Khorne laughed several times, then thrust his giant hand into the tides of souls. In the next instant, that hand appeared on both sides of the warship, ready
