Biel-Tan and Iyanden appeared before Lin Fan and Yvraine from a remarkable perspective.
The two Craftworlds had different color schemes reflecting their cultural leanings. Biel-Tan Craftworld was primarily white and green, its emblem centered on a stylized golden glyph that cradled a red heart above it.
This rune meant rebirth. They believed the Aeldari winter had arrived, which meant the next spring was not far away.
Iyanden Craftworld was primarily yellow and blue. Its rune had a blue disk as its base, bearing a golden torii-like structure and a flame.
This rune meant light amid darkness, referring to Asuryan's ever-burning altar. The flame of hope of the Iyanden Aeldari had never gone out.
As the final homes of the Craftworld Aeldari, these Craftworlds were extraordinary in scale. They possessed independent ecosystems and abundant, diverse natural regions. The natural and residential areas complemented one another, forming an effective cycle. Yet more areas stood empty, awkwardly awaiting reconstruction. After all, the Craftworld Aeldari were still far too few for ships of this size.
While the Imperium of Man could not even calculate the exact population aboard a single ship, the vastness of Craftworld Aeldari vessels and their sparse populations created another form of inefficiency.
If a squad skilled in infiltration and stealth entered one of these ships, it would take a long time before anyone discovered the saboteurs within.
From the outside, the two Craftworlds did not appear badly damaged. Enormous masts made of Wraithbone slanted behind the vessels, while dense solar sails filled the gaps, radiating dazzling, dreamlike colors.
"They're quite beautiful," Lin Fan praised. "And their design is very user-friendly. Oedmeir would like the design philosophy behind these Craftworlds."
