Arc 40The White Light and the End Times
Lin Fan’s power devastated Nurgle’s forces and erased lives across the galaxy, while the Primarchs confronted their past failures and Imperial forces rallied at Cadia. As Tzeentch pursued his plans through Khayon and Rokasna, Vect used the Cronesword to draw on a god’s power.
- Isha hurled Magnus into Perfect City, where Lin Fan’s white light erased Gork and much of the Ork population, then proved unable to spare Nurgle’s victims from the same destructive power.
- Lin Fan reflected on the deaths he had caused and confronted Lorgar and Magnus about their choices, while Corax recounted his own losses and led the group toward Cadia through shadows.
- Mork’s grief over Gork’s silence pushed him toward invention, while the surviving Orks refitted Gork’s Head and the Silent King’s fleet fought The Deceiver and the revived ancient ships.
- The Emperor’s forces battled on Terra and Mars as Jaghatai Khan’s fleet reached Cadia, joined the Imperial forces, destroyed the Vengeful Spirit, and began driving back Chaos.
- Fulgrim faced the divided Emperor’s Children on Biel-Tan, while Curze punished Night Lords raiding the craftworld and followed a strange ripple deeper inside.
- Carlos tempted Khayon with visions of his losses and an alternate life, but Khayon rejected the offer before Tzeentch raised the End Times and Rokasna as parts of his plans.
- Vect confronted Yvraine on Biel-Tan and let Many-Faced stab him with the Cronesword, drawing on Death God’s Power as Yvraine weakened.
