The Last Two Stones

Inside Wakanda's hall, everyone stared fixedly at the dining table.

Beside the table, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Hulk—now back in the form of Dr. Banner—were wolfing down the food on the table.

Peter quietly muttered to Tony, "I've never seen Ms. Wanda like this before."

Tony stroked his chin and curled his lip.

"That's because you've never encountered anything worse."

Doctor Strange let out a full belch, then said to everyone between breaths, "I had a nightmare. In it, I was tied to a tree and got so hungry I gnawed the whole thing clean."

At that, everyone turned to stare at Qin Yi.

Qin Yi hurriedly waved his hands.

"Ah, Stephen. Tell everyone what happens after we gather the Infinity Stones."

Stephen tried to stand, only to notice his frail body. After a moment of silence, he said gloomily, "If we can gather all six Infinity Stones, one snap will be enough to eliminate the zombie virus from our universe. But the Infinity Stones are too powerful. My current body might not be able to withstand their backlash."

After speaking, Stephen glanced at Wanda and Dr. Banner, who were just as frail. The Avengers' strongest members were all unfit for it at the moment.

"Peter, have you developed the Healing Serum yet?"

"Mr. Stephen, not yet. It was Mr. Qin who healed you with his ability."

Stephen nodded at Qin Yi. No wonder he had sensed such immense pressure in the hall from the moment he woke up.

"Burp... burp."

Bruce Banner patted his stomach in satisfaction. Remembering what he had said to Peter when he stayed behind to hold the line, he looked up at him.

"Peter, you did it."

"Dr. Banner, we did it."

Peter walked over and embraced Banner. Thinking of the other Avengers who had already sacrificed themselves and would never recover, tears streamed down his face.

Everyone fell silent for a while.

Black Panther T'Challa was the first to speak.

"Mr. Qin, we'll need to trouble you to heal the zombies around us first. Then we can search for the other two Infinity Stones."

Qin Yi nodded.

"Peter, stay behind and take care of the doctors. Bucky, let's count the remaining Avengers together. W'Kabi, lead the guards to inspect the protective barrier..."

Under T'Challa's arrangements, all of Wakanda sprang into action.

Qin Yi went to Tony and Shuri's laboratory. After casting several Healing Spells on the fully armed pair, he asked, "How is it, Tony?"

"Not very optimistic, Qin. By the way, if our research fails, there are so many zombies that need Healing Spells. Will it affect you much?"

"It's not a major problem, Tony. But if we rely on Healing Spells, some will inevitably slip through the net. If this virus isn't completely eradicated, it could flare up again."

Tony and Shuri nodded and continued their research.

Qin Yi then flew out of Wakanda's protective barrier.

In midair, Qin Yi spread out his spiritual power and slowly scanned the surrounding area. Strands of energy pulled the nearby zombies toward him.

Qin Yi raised a hand, sending sacred white rays flying out and into the bodies of the surrounding zombies.

A moment later, as the cries around him faded away, clarity gradually returned to the zombies' eyes.

Qin Yi turned and said, "Bucky, take this group to Point 1 for observation for a few days. And remember to provide them with food."

On the ground, a cold-faced man with long hair raised his metal arm and gave an OK gesture. Then he waved his hand, and the fully armed Wakandan guards escorted the crowd toward the protective barrier.

One month later.

With the area around Wakanda cleared, and the last group of healed people withdrawn from Observation Point 89, Qin Yi finally found time to lie on the sofa and bask in the sun.

Beside him, Scarlet Witch Wanda sat hugging her knees, staring blankly ahead. After a month of recovery, her figure had gradually filled out.

Qin Yi took out a pile of food from his magical space and began hypnotizing himself.

A long time later.

The afterglow of the setting sun flowed in through the windowsill and spilled across the sofa.

After hypnotizing himself for an entire afternoon, Qin Yi looked at the only two apples left on the table. He picked one up and handed it to the dazed Wanda.

"Here."

Wanda stared blankly at it and accepted the apple Qin Yi offered her.

"After gathering the Infinity Stones, can everyone be brought back to life?"

Qin Yi froze for a moment and looked at Wanda, who had lowered her head.

"There's a timing issue. If we choose a point before they were infected with the zombie virus and revive everyone, it'll just repeat itself. The zombie virus will spread again like before, until this universe collapses."

Wanda silently held the apple and said nothing more.

Qin Yi lay on the sofa, looking up as the last trace of sunset vanished beyond the horizon.

"It'll pass eventually."

Only two Infinity Stones remained. It seemed he had to find Zombie Thanos as soon as possible. He had already been in this universe for two months. He needed to get back quickly.

Qin Yi looked at the four Infinity Stones in his hand. The energy packs were within reach, but I fucking don't dare absorb them.

If my hunger reaches 100%, can I still stay rational? What the system fused into me wasn't a fragment of the Phoenix Force like Phoenix had.

It's pure Fairy Force. Once the fusion rate reaches 100%, it'll be an existence on par with Marvel's five great creator gods. By then, this hypnosis method probably won't work anymore.

That damned system is still dormant.

"Mr. Qin, we found Thor. Surveillance shows Thor and a raccoon have appeared in New York."

Black Panther T'Challa's words interrupted Qin Yi's thoughts.

Stephen and Dr. Banner walked over.

"Do you need us to come with you?"

Qin Yi shook his head. "Just bring someone familiar with Thor. We're only making a quick trip anyway."

New York City

Thor jumped down from a spaceship. With one eye, he stared in shock at the ruined city around him as a dense swarm of zombies crowded through the streets and surged toward them.

"Thor, what the fuck is going on?" The little raccoon standing on Thor's shoulder hurriedly pulled out his weapon.

As the zombie horde rushed before them, Thor hurriedly flew into the air. Stormbreaker began gathering power, and waves of thunderstorm clouds appeared above New York.

The little raccoon looked at the thunderstorm circling overhead and asked Thor in confusion, "What are you waiting for, Thor? Why aren't you releasing it?"

Thor's face flushed red as he gripped Stormbreaker with all his strength and shouted at the lightning above, "It won't listen to me!"

At that moment, a spatial vortex appeared before Thor. The little raccoon aimed his gun at it as Qin Yi and Dr. Banner stepped out of the vortex.

"Rat-a-tat-tat..." A burst of bullets from the blue-flame Gatling poured out.

"Don't! They're friendlies!" Thor hurriedly shouted at the little raccoon when he saw Banner.

The little raccoon awkwardly watched as every bullet struck Qin Yi, only to be deflected. Why had they all bounced off? He was kind of powerful.

Qin Yi shrugged helplessly. Dr. Banner, standing beside him, nodded at Thor.

"Thor, we need your help. Let's return to Wakanda and talk."
