Finding Zombie Thanos

"So Earth—no, the entire universe—has been invaded by the zombie virus, and Thanos became a zombie too?"

Inside Wakanda's hall.

After listening to Peter and Dr. Banner recount what had happened over the past year, Thor stared in disbelief with his one remaining eye.

"What do we do now?"

After handing Thor a beer, Stephen said,

"Find Zombie Thanos. Mr. Qin previously took three Infinity Stones from Thanos, and with the Mind Stone on Earth, we only need to get the final two Infinity Stones from Zombie Thanos. Gather all six, snap our fingers, and the zombie virus can be wiped out."

"What about Nebula and the others?" Qin Yi asked.

Thor looked at the not particularly imposing man before him. Qin Yi had probably been the reason he could not summon lightning earlier, and there was also that ability to teleport anywhere at any time. When had Earth produced such a powerful man? He would definitely have to spar with him someday.

Thor nodded at Qin Yi and said,

"You're strong! Nebula and Quill went to Titan. Damn it, if Thanos became a zombie, they're in danger. We need to leave immediately."

"Do you know where Titan is?"

"I do." The little raccoon stepped forward.

"Then Stephen and Wanda will stay in Wakanda. I'll take Thor and the little raccoon to Titan."

The little raccoon jumped onto the table furiously.

"Say that again. My name is Rocket."

"Okay, Rocket Raccoon. Picture Titan's location in your mind. Thor, grab the little raccoon."

Qin Yi looked into the little raccoon's eyes. After reading Titan's location, an energy field wrapped around Thor and the little raccoon.

After a ripple in space, the two men and one raccoon vanished from Wakanda's hall.

Inside the hall, Dr. Banner asked Happy, who stood nearby,

"Has he always been this strong?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Happy nodded.

Titan.

Thor and Rocket emerged from the spatial vortex and looked over the desolate planet. The man and raccoon exchanged glances, each seeing the same disbelief in the other's eyes. This was freaking insane.

Rocket turned to Qin Yi, who had his eyes closed, and cautiously asked,

"Mr. Qin, can you find Thanos? This planet is way too abandoned."

"Wait... found him."

Qin Yi casually drew a golden ring, then turned to the two stunned figures and said,

"Let's go."

Passing through the golden portal, the two men and one raccoon arrived at a patch of ruins.

Zombie Thanos sat high above the ruins on a decayed throne, staring blankly at his gauntlet. Several arms that had been gnawed clean lay scattered beside the throne.

Inside cages below the throne were Nebula, Mantis, Quill, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot. None of them looked to be in good condition.

Seeing Quill and Drax missing arms, the little raccoon cursed furiously.

"Thanos, your grandpa is here for you!"

Hearing Rocket's voice, the people in the cage stirred. Drax shouted weakly at the little raccoon,

"Rocket, run! If he catches you, you won't even be enough for one meal!"

Zombie Thanos stood from his throne after hearing the commotion. The scent of living humans delighted him immensely. He eagerly walked toward the little raccoon.

The Guardians of the Galaxy shouted for Rocket to run, but then they discovered that Thanos had suddenly frozen midway, staring motionlessly behind Rocket.

Qin Yi waved at the suddenly motionless Zombie Thanos. A faint blue glow appeared on Zombie Thanos's gauntlet, and then he vanished amid a ripple in space.

The Guardians of the Galaxy stared dumbfoundedly at everything that had happened.

"Thor, you and the little raccoon rescue them first. I'll go after Thanos."

With that, Qin Yi vanished as well in a ripple of space.

"Damn it. Good thing I left myself a backup this time. Let's see how you run now."

Qin Yi chased after the Thanos he had marked.

Xandar.

After Zombie Thanos emerged from the spatial vortex, he looked around in confusion. He had no idea why he had come here, only that the place felt strangely familiar.

Suddenly, Qin Yi emerged from another spatial vortex.

Zombie Thanos froze for a moment, then hurriedly activated the Space Stone and vanished in the faint blue glow from his gauntlet.

Knowhere.

Zombie Thanos stared at the enormous head that had already been destroyed. Clutching his head with both hands, he felt a splitting headache as scenes appeared in his mind like projections.

A moment later.

Qin Yi arrived from another spatial vortex.

Zombie Thanos hurriedly activated the Space Stone and vanished again.

Vormir.

On a broken cliff beneath a purple sky, the land was utterly lifeless.

Zombie Thanos sat at the edge of the cliff, silently staring into its depths.

The scenes in his mind flipped past like pages in a book.

"No, that isn't love."

"I never cared about destiny before, but now I have to. Even if I lose you... I'm sorry, daughter."

In the vision, a figure fell into the depths of the cliff.

Zombie Thanos clutched his head in agony as a tear rolled down his cheek.

As the images in his mind shattered, clarity returned to Zombie Thanos's eyes.

He raised his hand and looked at the last two Infinity Stones on his gauntlet, contemplating everything that had happened recently.

Behind him, Qin Yi arrived on Vormir through a spatial vortex. This time, however, Thanos did not teleport away.

Curiously, Qin Yi waved his hand. An energy restraint bound Thanos, and Qin Yi walked forward to stand beside him.

"I have never encountered an existence like you before," Thanos said in a low voice.

Qin Yi abruptly raised his head and stared into Thanos's clear eyes.

"Holy shit, that actually worked?"

Thanos lowered his head and looked into the bottomless cliff.

"Here lies the person I loved most..."

Qin Yi looked at the emotionally unreadable, somewhat sorrowful Thanos. This guy was freaking ruthless. He had actually recovered even after being infected by the zombie virus. How strong did his body, mind, and obsession have to be to pull that off?

Although Qin Yi had beaten him up on Earth and then chased him all the way to Vormir, making him look utterly miserable.

If Qin Yi did not have cheats, he would absolutely stay far away from someone like this.

Regardless of right or wrong, this man's lifelong spirit of striving for his ideals was worth learning from.

But their beliefs differed. Qin Yi waved his hand and released Thanos from his restraints.

Thanos gave Qin Yi a surprised look. He then removed the two Infinity Stones from his gauntlet, thought for a moment, and handed the Infinity Gauntlet to Qin Yi as well.

"Bury me with her... no, forget it. She never really liked me as a father. Do me a favor and bury me on Titan."

Qin Yi nodded.

Thanos took one last look at the cliff. Vigorous energy surged through his right hand before he struck his own head and collapsed beside the cliff.

Qin Yi stood at the edge of the cliff. Under the purple sky, the place really was depressing.

Then he waved his hand, swept up Thanos's corpse, and vanished amid a ripple in space.

Titan.

Quill shouted,

"Can that little guy really handle Thanos? Should we go help?" Then he looked at his empty left arm and fell silent.

"Don't worry, Quill. Mr. Qin is seriously strong. Even Thanos with five Stones was no match for him before," Rocket replied while tending to Groot's branches.

Drax the Destroyer nodded.

"I can feel it. He's even stronger than the god Thor. A true beast of a man."

A spatial vortex suddenly appeared in midair.

Thor and the Guardians immediately stood up tensely and prepared for battle.

Qin Yi stepped out, with Thanos's corpse floating behind him.

Thor hurried forward excitedly.

"Qin, did you get the Infinity Stones?"

Qin Yi nodded. With a wave of his hand, Thanos's corpse flew onto the decayed throne. The abandoned buildings around them turned into flowing particles that spiraled around the throne, forming a tomb in moments.

"Gamora? Did you see Gamora, Mr. Qin?" Star-Lord hurriedly asked, with only one arm remaining.

Qin Yi shook his head. "Sorry, Quill. Maybe she's elsewhere in the universe. Do you want to return to Earth with us?"

Nebula stood silently nearby and did not interrupt Qin Yi.

Star-Lord looked at his injured companions and fell silent for a moment.

"Can you take them to Earth to recover?"

So that was it. Qin Yi raised his hand, and holy white light from his palm flew into the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Star-Lord watched in shock as his companions recovered completely in moments. Feeling his own strength return, he said to Qin Yi,

"Thank you! In that case, we'll set off to find Gamora."

The Guardians of the Galaxy then boarded their spaceship.

"Goodbye, Mr. Qin." The little raccoon waved.

"Goodbye, little raccoon."

After bidding farewell to the Guardians of the Galaxy, Qin Yi took Thor and teleported back to Wakanda through a spatial vortex.
