Attracting Orks 2

The Orks who were still running suddenly heard the screams of their companions behind them and could not help turning around to look.

"Damn humies, you dared to ambush us! Die!"

One Ork saw the Space Marine slaughtering his way through the Ork mob and flew into a rage. Clutching his choppa, he charged at the Space Marine.

Facing the charging Green, the Space Marine merely spun lightly aside to evade the Ork's attack. With a graceful sweep of the Power Sword in his left hand, he easily severed the Ork's head.

After killing the Ork, the Space Marine turned and sat back on his hover bike, continuing to kill more Orks with the Power Sword in his left hand.

The Space Marine sped through the Orks on his hover bike, killing no fewer than a hundred Orks along the way before easily breaking through the mob and speeding off.

He left behind a huge group of furious Orks, who roared and bellowed in rage.

"Ah! Damn humie cans! You dared to toy with me! I'll kill you for this!"

The Ork Boss raised his Boltgun and kept firing in the direction where the Space Marine had vanished, roaring furiously all the while.

He had been an Ork for more than a decade. Back when he followed his boss, he had fought Chaos humie cans before, so naturally he recognized them.

Humie cans really were powerful. Ordinary bosses were no match for them.

After raging impotently for a while, the Ork Boss gradually calmed down and noticed a large group of Ork Boyz gathered around him.

"You... you, you lot, go find my boss right now! Tell him to bring more Boyz over immediately. Tell him I ran into a huge bunch of humie cans."

The Ork Boss pointed at more than a dozen Ork Boyz and shouted.

"Boss, but we only ran into a few humie cans."

One of the Ork Boyz who had been singled out answered honestly.

Hearing the Ork Boy undermine him, the Ork Boss walked over and angrily kicked him several times, saying unhappily:

"You'll tell my boss exactly what I tell you to say. If you dare make me look bad in front of my boss, I'll skin you alive."

The Ork Boss gave the Ork Boy another kick.

The Ork Boyz singled out by the Ork Boss ran off in a flash and quickly disappeared from his sight.

The Ork Boss roared at the Ork Boyz around him, "Keep chasing! Kill those humie cans! Waaagh!"

"Waaagh!"

The Orks roared and resumed running forward.

The Space Marine rode his hover bike back to his teammates and said with a smile, "The Orks are coming after us."

"Good work."

Tina praised him calmly.

"Tina, let me go next time."

Another Space Marine looked at Tina and asked.

"Fine."

The Space Marines rode their hover bikes slowly up ahead while the Orks desperately chased after them. Whenever the Orks tried to stop and catch their breath, a Space Marine would burst out from somewhere unexpected and hack through them.

Each time, the Space Marines killed only a little over a hundred Orks before swiftly leaving the mob, never lingering for long.

This tactic infuriated the Orks. They could not catch up to the hover bikes, but whenever they tried to stop, the Space Marines would come out and provoke them again.

In the end, the Space Marines drove the Orks mad with rage. They no longer thought of stopping to rest and catch their breath, instead desperately chasing the Space Marines from behind.

"Captain Gray, we're almost at the base. Have the soldiers get ready."

Tina reported over the communications channel.

"Alright, I understand."

The Space Marines rode their hover bikes swiftly through the base's defensive positions and returned to the base.

Watching the Space Marines fly over his head, the company commander shouted over the communications channel, "Get ready, the Orks are coming."

"Clatter, clatter."

At the foremost position on the front line, the sounds of rifles and machine guns being chambered rang out continuously. More than ten thousand soldiers of First Company were already lying in the trenches, aiming their weapons ahead and quietly awaiting the Orks' arrival.

"Waaagh!"

The Orks chasing the Space Marines from behind continued to roar furiously.

The Orks' figures appeared on the company commander's helmet visor, along with their distance from him.

Fifteen hundred meters... twelve hundred meters, one thousand meters.

When the company commander saw the Orks drawing closer and closer to the base's defensive positions, he calmly issued an order over the communications channel.

"First Company, open fire."

"Bang, bang, bang!"

The thunderous roar of Ripper Rifles and heavy machine guns echoed across the position. The Orks, still furiously chasing the Space Marines, were caught completely off guard. Vast numbers of them fell like wheat before a farmer's scythe.

The Ripper Rifles easily blasted huge bloody holes through the Orks' muscular bodies. Even the Ceramite armor plates some Orks had somehow found and strapped onto themselves were easily shredded apart.

After the sudden attack, the Orks reacted quickly. Those carrying firearms kept firing at the Defense Force positions, while those without guns gripped their choppas and charged forward desperately.

For a time, gunfire erupted all around the base, and both sides became locked in fierce combat.

Tina sat on her hover bike, raising her massive Ripper Rifle and taking aim at the Ork Boss.

After a sharp gunshot, the Ork Boss faltered mid-charge. His entire head shattered beneath the Ripper Rifle's attack, and his headless body pitched forward and landed stiffly on the ground, never moving again.

"Nice shot!"

Countless teammates cheered over Tina's communications channel, thrilled that she had killed an Ork Boss with one shot.

"You bunch of bootlickers. Drop it."

Tina said disdainfully over the communications channel.

"Uh..."

The cheers over the communications channel fell silent, and the Space Marines lapsed into awkwardness.

There was no helping it. Tina was currently the only woman among the Space Marines, and she was also exceptionally beautiful. It was only natural that some single Space Marines wanted to pursue her, but Tina had no interest in them.

"The boss is dead!"

The Orks who were still charging suddenly saw the Ork Boss get killed, and their previously fierce morale immediately took a heavy blow.

"Run!"

After seeing their boss killed, some Orks' fighting spirit instantly collapsed. No longer willing to continue fighting the humans, they scattered in all directions like frightened birds and beasts.
