Although Orks were an extremely warlike race, they only fought fearlessly under the leadership of an Ork boss. Whenever the Ork boss that the Ork Boyz pledged loyalty to was killed, the Orks would fall into chaos.
The racial traits of the Orks were very similar to those of the Tyranids. Every Ork boss was a biological psychic node. Whenever an Ork boss was killed and the psychic node of that group of Orks was destroyed, the Orks themselves would descend into chaos.
The Orks' original advantage would be broken, and they would no longer be so united, brave, or fearless of death.
After an Ork boss was killed, some powerful Ork Boyz would want to become the boss themselves, while others would choose to leave their original unit and seek out a new powerful boss to serve.
After Tina killed the Ork boss from a great distance, the Orks, whose morale had been soaring, fell into chaos.
"Oi'm da new boss! Listen ta me! Keep charg'in forward an' keep fightin' da Humies!"
An Ork Boy nearly three meters tall saw his boss die, raised his Boltgun, and roared at the confused Ork Boyz.
"Oi'm da new boss! Ya dare fight me fer da boss spot? Die!"
Another Ork Boy charged at the gun-wielding Ork with a massive cleaver. The two Greenskins immediately began fighting fiercely, neither willing to submit to the other.
The two huge Greenskins slaughtered each other, neither willing to concede as the battle grew exceptionally fierce.
Under the Defense Force's attacks, more and more surviving Orks fled in every direction instead of staying to continue fighting the Defense Force soldiers.
The First Company commander stared blankly at the Greenskins who had fallen into chaos. Hardly any of them chose to keep fighting him, leaving the commander unsure of what to do for a moment.
Should they continue attacking the Orks, or cease fire and watch the Orks fight among themselves? Although he had learned about the characteristics of the various races at the base, this was the first time he had witnessed an Ork civil war.
Although Art Student knew some of the Orks' racial traits, all of that knowledge had come from the internet. Art Student had never truly encountered Orks before, so the information on Greenskins in the database was incomplete.
Although the Void Dragon's memories also contained memories of Greenskins, those were all of the ancient Orks, not these already-degenerated Orks.
At that moment, Anrida's order came through the First Company commander's communications channel, resolving his dilemma.
"Cease fire for now. Let the Orks fight among themselves. Wait for the main Ork force to arrive."
"Yes, sir."
After receiving the order, the First Company commander instructed his men through the communications channel to cease fire. Half remained on guard against the chaotic Orks, while the rest took a break.
Large numbers of Orks fled the battlefield in all directions, searching for the main Ork force so they could join the ranks of a more powerful boss.
The remaining Orks put on a massive Greenskin brawl right in front of the Defense Force.
"Damn, Orks really are strange. They're fighting among themselves right in front of an external enemy, as if we don't even exist."
A soldier from the First Company who was on watch clicked his tongue in amazement as he spoke to the teammate beside him.
"Yeah. Just now they were fighting us to the death, but after their boss was killed by Miss Tina, they fell into chaos and started fighting each other. They're actually ignoring us enemies entirely."
Another Defense Force soldier watched the magnified footage through his helmet visor and discussed it with his teammate.
"What do you think would happen if we killed the strongest Ork now?"
Another soldier said with a grin.
He was eager to try killing the boss among the Orks.
"Don't. The company commander already ordered a ceasefire. If you disobey his orders now, you'll suffer for it later."
The first soldier poured cold water on his teammate's enthusiasm. Remembering the terror of the company commander's training, the eager soldier immediately abandoned his curious idea and could only continue standing watch obediently.
"Boss-boss! Boss-boss! Oi's boss found lotsa Human Tin Cans!"
More than a dozen Orks ran through the Ork mob, shouting at the top of their lungs.
Those words instantly roused many Orks who had not cared before, and they all turned to look at the dozen or so Ork Boyz.
An Ork boss emerged from the crowd, looked at the group of Ork Boyz still shouting, and asked gruffly, "Ya tellin' da truth? Yer boss ran into Human Tin Cans?"
The dozen or so Ork Boyz shouting among the crowd looked at the big Ork who had stepped forward and involuntarily shrank their necks. He was an Ork boss even stronger than their own boss, but they still gathered their courage and shouted:
"Boss Iron Hand, it's true! We ran into a bunch of Human Tin Cans ridin' motorcycles down below, and da Human Tin Cans attacked us!"
Upon hearing the Ork Boyz' answer, Iron Hand said excitedly:
"Ya lot actually ran into Human Tin Cans? You Boyz got real lucky! Why ain't I run into any Human Tin Cans? Come on, I'll take ya ta see Boss Iron Bull."
Iron Hand happily led the Ork Boyz toward where Iron Bull was, shouting loudly all the while, "Boss! Boss! Got good news!"
Iron Hand strode along with the wind at his back, looking extremely excited.
"What're ya yellin' fer? Yer makin' too much noise. Ya wanna challenge me again?"
A gruff voice rang out from the Ork camp. An Ork nearly five meters tall, clad in Ork Power Armour, strode toward Iron Hand. His enormous figure stood before Iron Hand like a solid wall, casting a vast shadow beneath the lights.
"Uh, Boss, Oi don't dare challenge ya anymore."
Iron Hand, who had come eagerly to find Iron Bull, immediately wilted when he heard Iron Bull's voice and hurriedly explained himself.
"Then why're ya lookin' fer me now?"
Iron Bull asked curiously.
"Boss, these Boyz found a huge group of Human Tin Cans."
Iron Hand said excitedly.
Iron Bull lifted Iron Hand with one hand and said excitedly, "Ya tellin' da truth? There're Human Tin Cans in this Humie world?"
"Boss, it's true. Oi brought all da Boyz who saw da Human Tin Cans."
Lifted into the air by Iron Bull, Iron Hand hurriedly explained, pointing at the Ork Boyz behind him.
Iron Bull turned his gaze toward the Ork Boyz and asked, "What ya said true?"
The dozen or so Ork Boyz looked at the imposing Iron Bull and hurriedly nodded at him over and over like chickens pecking grain. "Boss-boss, it's true! We found lotsa Human Tin Cans underground. Our boss sent us here ta tell ya."
"Good, good! Time ta have another big fight with da Humies! Waaagh! Boyz, gather up and get ready fer battle!"
Iron Bull let out a roar that echoed throughout the land.
"Waaagh!"
An even fiercer Greenskin roar answered Iron Bull.
