"You dare!!!"

General Zod's roar echoed across the battlefield. This was the first time he had erupted with such terrifying fury.

When he saw Faora's head severed by the weak humans in his eyes, anger finally appeared on General Zod's face, as frozen as if it had never thawed in ten thousand years. The immense rage twisted his entire expression into something ferocious.

The last time he had lost control like this was when the Kryptonian rebellion had failed and he had been captured. Looking at those decayed Kryptonian elders then, General Zod had wanted to execute every last one of them, because they had led Krypton down a path of irreversible ruin.

But now, seeing his most trusted adjutant dead, General Zod only wanted to carve every Earthling before him into a thousand pieces.

Faora was unquestionably someone immensely important to General Zod. He had spent half his life at war, and very few people had ever been able to enter his heart. Perhaps the concept of "love" simply did not exist in his genes, leaving General Zod forever strict, iron-blooded, and impartial.

Yet even the most ice-cold intelligent being had feelings. Adjutant Faora was one of the few people Zod could truly confide in.

And yet, this adjutant who had followed him through countless battles had not died beneath the bombardment of interstellar fleets, nor in the Kryptonian revolution. Instead, she had met her end on this tiny Earth.

Intense hatred and fury filled Zod's heart as a vast red energy rapidly gathered in his eyes.

Seemingly realizing what General Zod intended to do, Kara hesitated not at all. She burst from the sky in an instant and flew straight toward him.

"Get out of my way!"

General Zod immediately detected the sonic boom from Kara's rapid flight.
