Why Are You Forcing Me?

"Damn it, they're crazy! Kill him!" Tan Jie waved a hand, and his underlings immediately swarmed forward.

Back-to-back with Bai Ye, Li You's body tensed instantly. He spoke rapidly, "I'll handle King Snake. Tan Jie is yours. Whether we make it out alive depends entirely on fate!"

With that, he let out a roar and charged toward King Snake. His trembling right hand swung out, and several rushing thugs were struck as if by a heavy hammer, coughing blood as they flew backward.

"King Snake! Die!" Cold sweat covered Li You's face. His right hand rose with extreme difficulty, as though bearing a thousand-pound burden, but the next instant, a faint sound of cracking bone rang out.

His right hand went limp as if its bones had been pulled out, hanging uselessly at his side and swaying in the wind.

Li You was both furious and alarmed. His already badly injured right hand had completely given out at this moment; even the bone fractures that had begun to heal had split open again.

Bai Ye's voice came from behind Li You. Then a powerful hand landed on his shoulder.

He turned around and glared at Bai Ye. Given the dangerous situation, he did not dare shout, instead lowering his voice. "What are you doing? Didn't I tell you to deal with Tan... Holy shit!!?"

When Li You's peripheral vision caught sight of Tan Jie and the others, he was struck dumb as if by lightning.

In his field of vision, Tan Jie and the others were nowhere to be seen. All that remained were headless corpses strewn across the ground!

Bai Ye gave a cold laugh, a fierce glint flashing through his defiant eyes. "If I kill you, the money is mine anyway. You're using my money to buy your life from me? Are you fucking brain-dead!"

A flash of cold light streaked through the air. The sharp dagger slashed brutally across King Snake's neck, and his fine head fell to the ground.

The horrified expression had not even had time to spread across his face before it froze completely. He had never expected Bai Ye to act so decisively, without even giving him the chance to take out the money.

Naturally, Bai Ye would not give King Snake the opportunity to open his mechanical arm. He knew King Snake was cunning and treacherous, far more clever than the simple-minded Tan Jie, so he did not want to take the risk.

What if King Snake opening his mechanical arm was a ruse, and activating the mechanism on it was the real plan? If Bai Ye was caught off guard and did not have time to activate Time Stop, would he not be doomed by a careless mistake?

After killing King Snake, Bai Ye immediately crouched down and began cutting into him. He was afraid there really was money inside King Snake's mechanical arm.
