Before Spring could finish speaking, she froze, staring blankly at the silver sphere in her hand.
It was the one Bai Ye had just tossed over.
She stared in disbelief at the Nanobomb Bai Ye had "given" her, then looked up at him suppressing his laughter. She looked down again, then up, repeating this several times without coming to her senses.
What the hell!? He just gave me the Nanobomb!?
Did Cunning Rabbit know he was doomed and decide to beg for mercy? Then why was he smiling so happily?
"You wanted this, right? It's yours. Oh, right, this too." Smiling, Bai Ye took the golden ring off his hand.
Then he tossed it straight to Spring.
Spring caught the golden Nanobomb Controller in a daze, utterly bewildered.
She stood frozen, a gold ring in one hand and a silver ring in the other.
She looked at the gold ring, then at the silver one.
Only then did she realize the gold ring wasn't even fucking gold. It merely had a coat of gold paint, and the paint had already started wearing off.
"Is one enough? I've got more if it isn't," Bai Ye called to everyone, holding back his laughter.
The members of the Four Seasons Society froze. What!? There were more Nanobombs?
A moment later, their eyes nearly popped out of their heads.
Bai Ye turned his palm over, revealing an entire handful of Nanobombs!!
His hand was piled full of them, as though they were cheap glass marbles!
Silence!
Deathly silence!
Everyone stared slack-jawed at that handful of Nanobombs, speechless for a long while.
At that moment, even the biggest idiot among them realized something was wrong with these Nanobombs.
Spring's expression changed dramatically. She hurriedly raised the silver bracelet in her hand and shook it frantically.
