The Chief Judge's eyes held the weight of all he had weathered, and his gentle voice carried a trace of desolation.
Beside him, Bai Ye frowned slightly, impatience flickering in his clear black eyes.
"Enough about humanity's rotten nature. You worry way too much. People come and go in this world-can you keep track of them all? You'd be better off looking after yourself and living freely, with a clear head."
The Chief Judge looked at him. "Look after yourself? Then why are you so fixated on Apocalypse? By your own reasoning, you shouldn't concern yourself with it."
Bai Ye answered as though it were obvious. "No shit. That's my Apocalypse! If someone smashed your windows, would you just stand there and watch?"
"What if it were North Mang?"
"North Mang is mine too! Forget North Mang-even the entire East Continent is mine!"
The Chief Judge couldn't help laughing. Bai Ye kept insisting that people shouldn't meddle and ought to mind their own business, yet he meddled more than anyone. He had even claimed responsibility for the entire East Continent.
Was this a young man's sense of justice?
Bai Ye had no idea what the Chief Judge was thinking, but everything he said was the plain truth. The entire East Continent was a god's territory. Once his divine power recovered, every inch of land beneath the heavens would belong to him!
