Snape was in a very bad mood.

He even seriously thought back, wondering if he had accidentally drunk some sort of bad-luck potion.

Otherwise, how could he have been so unlucky today?

Lily's beloved son, that detestable Potter, had nearly fallen to his death on the Quidditch Pitch. Slytherin had lost the match, and his beloved coat had inexplicably been burned through with a hole...

What a truly unlucky day!

After using the Dittany leaves Silan had given him, the external wound on Snape's leg healed quickly.

Now he could once again stride along while swishing his robes, walking through the corridors of Hogwarts like a bat spreading its wings.

Snape turned a corner and suddenly spotted that detestable Potter and his damned pure-blood lackey seemingly sneaking after someone.

Following their line of sight, he looked up and saw Silan and Hermione walking hand in hand through the courtyard.

They appeared to be heading for a walk near the Black Lake.

Potter and Weasley were following them?

Snape frowned and gathered his robes around himself, silently approaching the two boys trailing behind.

"Isn't this a little inappropriate?"

Harry hid behind a pillar, peering at Silan and Hermione's retreating figures.

"What's inappropriate about it?" Ron stared intently at the people they were following and replied without turning his head. "We're just going to find our friends."

"Do people look for friends this sneakily?" Harry was at a loss for words.

"We're just walking a little slower than them. Come on, hurry up and follow."

Seeing their targets about to disappear from view, Ron hurriedly waved Harry over.

The two of them had seen Silan and Hermione heading downstairs together from above and had originally intended to go over and say hello.

But somehow, as they walked, it turned into following them.
