"I'm going with you." Neville's gaze was resolute.

Silan looked a little surprised. "Aren't you scared? The Forbidden Forest is even more dangerous at night than during the day."

"I am."

Neville seemed frightened by his own imagination, his lips trembling. "But I'm still going! As your friend, I can't let you face danger alone."

Swallowing, Neville continued, "And I want to help you."

Silan did not refuse again.

"If you ask me, you really are a born Gryffindor." Silan smiled and patted Neville's shoulder. "Get yourself ready, then. We'll meet here in two nights."

"Okay!"

Neville nodded vigorously, thrilled at the thought of being able to help Silan.

After finishing his work tending the herbs, Neville went to the library to look up information on Mooncalves.

He pulled out all the stops to help Silan.

After browsing the shelves of books on magical creatures for a while, Neville pulled out a book and ran his finger down the contents until he found the page number for Mooncalves.

"Magical creatures are classified from X to XXXXX. Those in the lowest category, X, cause no more than a little trouble and pose no danger. XXXXX-rated magical creatures, however, are generally considered impossible to domesticate or have been known to kill wizards."

"Mooncalves are gentle, XX-rated magical creatures..."

"Performing a Mooncalf's dance can attract them?"

After reading that sentence, Neville turned two more pages, only to find that there was no description of the dance.

That left him stumped.

If I learn the Mooncalves' dance, could I lure them out? That would definitely help Silan!

As Neville thought this, his eagerness grew.

He searched through the shelves, checking book after book in the hope of finding one that described the Mooncalves' dance.

But there were far too many books on the shelves,
