"Headmaster Dumbledore, why did you call me to your office? Don't tell me you're making me spend this holiday at The Burrow again. No matter what, I'm staying at Hogwarts this holiday to study magic!"
Oren swaggered into the Headmaster's office, dropped into a chair, and spoke.
"It's been two school years, and I still haven't figured out Avada Lightning Chain. I'm starting to feel like I've gotten lazy."
Dumbledore's eyelid twitched wildly. Avada Lightning Chain again? He absolutely could not let this little devil create such a thing.
"Child, you really will be spending this holiday with the Weasleys."
"Why?! I want to stay at Hogwarts and study Avada Lightning Chain!"
"Ahem... Hogwarts is being renovated over the holiday, mainly."
Oren dug at his ear. "Headmaster Dumbledore, do you hear what you're saying?"
"You can still study magic at The Burrow," Dumbledore persuaded him. "How about this? I'll teach you the Patronus Charm. It can not only deal with Dementors, but also protect you from certain Dark magic. What's more, it can earn you extra marks on exams."
"Deal with Dementors?" Oren crossed his arms. "Once I develop a Cruciatus Curse specifically for dealing with those nonexistent things, won't that work just as well?"
"Extra exam marks? Young Master Black doesn't care about a few points. Not learning it, not learning it!"
Dumbledore...
"How about I teach you Animagus transformation? You can transform into an animal, and everyone's animal form is different."
Dumbledore handed Oren a booklet and gave him a mischievous wink.
Oren took the booklet and flipped through a few pages. The farther he read, the darker his expression became.
"Hold a leaf in your mouth, wait for a full moon, wait for a thunderstorm... What is this, eighty-one trials on a pilgrimage? All that just to
